"I am an animator who needs a cutting edge machine to create my work. As someone who has always built my own computer, I was very skeptical about hiring a company to build one for me. However a time constraint and the need for a robust warranty left me no other choice.

I collected build quotes from many different companies including Origin, Xidax, Puget Systems, Cyberpower, etc. for nearly identical rigs. Ava Direct came in with a quote hundreds of dollars less than the next most competitive offer. I cross referenced the price with sourcing the parts myself on pcpartspicker.com and was amazed to see that there was only a couple hundred dollar difference in price. Well worth the convenience and peace of mind of having the machine built for me. Though their warranties are a bit more expensive than their competitors, their terms are way more flexible and offer almost total freedom for self-customization & upgrading.

I worked closely with a sales manager named Joseph through the entire process. Joseph was extremely helpful, straightforward & prompt with answers to any questions I had. I will confidently shop with them for future upgrades and builds.

**EDIT** I went back to AVA Direct for a hardware update after 3 years. They worked with me on an incredibly fast turnaround as I only had a few days between jobs. I worked with Joseph again again, and between he and Stephen, I got a fantastic upgrade. They were very communicative and flexible. Stephen even worked late hours and drove the machine in-person after hours to FedEx so that it could get overnighted to me in time. Incredible customer service and technical support. I'm an Ava Direct customer for life."

"Some of my computers I've built myself, others I've bought from a custom builder. Most of the latter are now centered around gaming, which is an interest but not a priority. AVA allowed me to start with a reasonable base configuration and adapt it to my desires. "I ordered a laptop with upgraded RAM in Dec 2020. They led me on for a month saying the RAM was late and that I would have to wait 10 days for the RAM to be installed...

Long story short -- even after the RAM supposedly arrived the status of my order never changed. I messaged support, tried Live Chat, and phone. I got a hold of them every 3 or 4 days. They told me they had all parts and would push to production. Never happened. After waiting a month I finally disputed the charge with Paypal. (If you do buy from them, use Paypal to avoid their ridiculous re-stocking and order cancellation fees.) They promptly refunded my money. No comments or anything. JUST GO TO AMAZON."
