"Ordered a drum for a fax machine for one of our customers. Not only did the drum take 3 weeks to arrive, (upsetting the customer) they sent the wrong part. We ordered this item in July of 2010, now February of 2011 we have yet to receive a credit back to our account. The item was shipped back and received yet we have not been contacted by customer service. This company rates with the some of the worst customer service I have seen. Though everytime I called in to check on this issue I spoke to the same person, they never could remember the issue and had me do all the work in getting the RMA setup. Take the time to help your customers and maybe they will return. I would not suggest anyone order from this site. Also, after the order was placed online I waited almost 2 weeks before calling in to ask for a tracking number only to be told, "we do not give out tracking numbers" What?!?! Terriable.
EDIT 03.16.11 A Matter Of Fax Reached out to me after posting this and offered me a full refund including shipping as well as a $15 dollar credit towards my next order. We received the check on 03.15.11 and was asked to revise my rating and comment. Though I would never personally order from this site again, their customer service did try to rectify this by reaching out to me and for that I will adjust my rating."

"I am a professional photographer and ordered an Epson 1900R printer from A Matter of Fax that was supposed to be new. I ordered online late Saturday, February 12 and received the product on Wednesday, the next week. The printer was obviously used, was not in its original box, was not in it's original (inside) packaging, was shabbily packed (it is a wonder the printer made it the distance), had no ink, no manual, no CD with print driver, was dirty, and had small marks (indentions) on its left side. I needed the printer for an art show and thought I might have been sent a refurbished one by mistake. I spent time downloading the printer driver and used extra ink I ordered to determine if the printer worked. It does not get the colors right and this is a high level printer known for the color brilliance. I cleaned the print heads (it uses ink to do this) and aligned the print head. It still does not work. I am very disappointed regarding my expenditure, and time waste. I actually hoped to make good of a bad situation.
Update: I have received the $100 credit but still have a printer that does not work. I am still very upset because I cannot afford to take the financial hit for this error on their part.
Update: The vendor has apologized. I am currently working with vendor's customer service to rectify the situation.

"Overall, a decent experience. Their website is deceiving as to what kind of brand you are getting, they do not give you an opportunity to choose shipping methods, but default to the most expensive shipping and don't tell you how much it is.
We ordered a replacement lamp for our InFocus SP4800 Projector. Shipping was relatively timely. But we got the box, opened it up and it all went downhill. The lamp packaging has no labels that identify the brand and is not sealed. The packaging is opened and the lamp rattles, as if broken. And sure enough, it doesn't work. The website says it is brand new and factory sealed, but clearly this is not the case. I am interested to see how they will respond. I just want my money back at this point.

On Monday, I received my RMA number, and Jacob called me later that day. He did offer to send out a replacement, but I chose to just get my money back. He did offer to refund my shipping as well, which was greatly appreciated since I had to spend $10 to send the broken bulb back. His mention of my poor feedback on here did bother me, but business is business I suppose."

I do not like paying for shipping, so I choose a 7-10 day delivery window to get free shipping but this was OK with me. I have had no problems with my two orders from this company."
"It took them over 3 weeks to mail an item that was supposed to be in stock. Then the shipping took a whole extra week. So start to finish the process took one month. Would never do business with again.
They did reach out to reconcile and accredited my cc $20 as an apology so I'm revising my rating from 1 to 3.
Now this same Jacob guy keeps calling me every day, twice a day pestering me. He keeps begging for me to also change the wording of my review. That was never part of the $20 deal. Hopefully you guys learn from your mistakes and perform better in the future. Jacob, quit calling me and quit emailing me. Your harassment is way overboard."
"I had a bad experience with this seller in regard to a TV lamp. The ad said there was free shipping, but when I placed the order it gave me no shipping options and charged me 17.00. I called customer service and they did credit me back the 17.00. However, the next day I received an e-mail that they were out of stock on this item. When I spoke to the customer service rep, he was unable to tell me when they would be getting the item in stock. I then canceled the order. Now I have to wait additional time to order this item from a different merchant.
Update: I got a call later in the day offering to find the same product for same price from a different merchant and also offering me a credit toward future purchases. I had already purchased this item from a different seller by time, but am adjusting my score upward slightly in recognition of the belated attempt at customer satisfaction. "
"We ordered a Canon Imagerunner 1025if with them on January 25. We were told that this item was in stock and that it would ship within a few days of placing the order. I tried to call a few different times to check on the status of the order and each time was told I needed to speak with the ordering manager. I left two or three messages for him to call me back and until this day I still have not heard anything from him. So today(February 15, 2011) we cancelled the order and ended up ordering it from somewhere else. I definitely do not recommend anyone ordering or buying anything from this company."

The product is as described. After writing a very upset review a few weeks ago, I was contacted about 5 times by customer service people who were trying to help get my order sorted out. We finally came to a consensus. The customer service people were very nice, and honestly, they're way to nice to be working for such a poorly run company.
