"This company seems to be a scamming, bait-and switch operation. They advertise low prices and when we place the order, they'll call you and want to switch to a higher priced item.
I ordered a Canon t5i with 18-135mm STM and 55-250mm STM lenses. All the Canon supplied accessories are supposed to be in the package - 'brand new factory fresh'. Free shipping (5-6 business days) as well as a 2% discount with code SAVE2 at checkout. The order was placed on Order Date: 2014-12-18 23:10:13. And the total is USD801.64. On Dec 19, a customer service person called me and said I should buy another package as the one I ordered is not for US, the battery won't last, etc. etc. Basically he was trying persuade me to buy another package that costs more. Basic 'bait and switch'. I declined the offer. According the website when I placed the order, I was supposed to get a tracking #. All I received was an order confirmation and invoice/bill.
I have not received any item tracking# or the item, till Dec 27. I contacted them through their customer service contact on their website as well as sent an email enquiring about the status of my order. On Dec 28, I received an email 'Thank you for your order', a new order created and charged to my credit card without my authorization. As of Dec 30, despite multiple emails to ask about the status of my original order as welll as the new order and unauthorized charge to my CC, I have NOT received any kind of response from them.
Bait 'n' switch, unauthorized transactions, failure to honor the sales agreement, absolutely no customer service, what else you need from a merchant?!!"

"I ordered a canon rebel t3i from this site. But after i had already paid they sold out. I got a very freindly call from one of their associates who informed me that it had sold out which bummed me out but then he told me about the t5 and that it was 150 more then the other but i wanted the other one because of the price and this wonderful guy gave it to me for the price i paid for the other. This made my day i have never experienced such good customer service from other place "

"I ordered a new lens for my camera on Sunday and received a phone call from Morris at Abe's of Maine the next day just checking to confirm my order. I missed his call and then promptly after that received an email from him. When I called back it went to voice-mail but he called me back within less than a minute of hanging up. He confirmed that I had entered the correct mailing address, ordered the correct product and that the lens I had ordered was compatible with the camera I have. He also generously upgraded my shipping for free (originally I had chosen the 5-6 business day free shipping) he gave me 3-5 business day shipping for free. Thus far I have been very satisfied with the great customer service from Abe's of Maine and low prices (there company had the lowest price for the item I ordered by far). I'm excited to receive my new lens! Thanks Morris and thanks Abe's of Maine!!
UPDATE: My package was shipped out and the 3 day shipping I was promised was not used so I contacted Morris back and he said he'd apply $25 to my account for my next order- guess there's not much they can do after it leaves their hands. Definitely disappointed it won't be here sooner. "
