"I ordered an "imported" T5i and didn't realize it, even though it was clearly stated on the listing. I just saw the price and ordered.
I then got a call from Roy and he explained the difference between retail and import.
So I decided to go with the retail version even though it was more expensive.
Roy noticed that I was a first-time buyer and he could get me an additional discount. It was actually a very generous discount and the retail version ended up only being about $60 more.
I know some people are upset about the "import/retail" thing. But I actually appreciated the call to explain the difference.
In the end, I got the camera I wanted at a good price.

"We ordered a bbq on Nov 27th - It's now Dec 22 and it hasn't shipped yet. We get a different story from the extremely rude and unmotivated staff every time we call (it's now been 5 long agonizing calls with lengthy wait times) First they tell us it is back ordered. 2hrs later they say it's available but we need to verify the credit card order before they ship. We verified and called several times to verify (phone mail every time and no return calls) On Dec 18th we called again - they claimed they shipped that day. It's now 12/22 and they're claiming they shipped now. Extremely rude and unmotivated staff. Every call leads to a different and nonsensical excuse as to why the product hasn't shipped

"Just wanted to say I purchase a Samsung 60" 4K Tv from Ted at Abe's. This is the second tv I have purchase from them. Ted was very nice and helpful. Now the bad part is I would suggest they change delivery company, amtrucking is terrible, they don't even read their instructions they send you about the delivery date. I ordered Nikon D7100 Camera, which was showing as $949.
Next day I got a call from seller (Roy) saying the one which you ordered is an import quality and won't have Nikon Warranty.
If you want a US model and warranty you need to pay $1199, and I got convinced (stupid me).
I authorized them to charge $1199, and they said you will get it in two days.
(If you read other reviews you will see this guy Roy calls every one and tells the same story.)
After 6 days of delay when I called I was not able to reach any one on there service line (which sucks, reaching them is all together a different story of pain).
after 3 hours of try, I reached the person who sold me the camera and he hung up on me :(.
I reached him again and had a frustrated argument, he said his supervisor will call me,which never happened.
I called his supervisor ( as seller give me his number ) and he was more rude than the guy who sold camera.
I got my camera after 10 days of placing order, when I opened box I was surprised, the camera was from a different kit and and in invoice Camera model was written as 'Nikon 7100G', which means it was a gray market product.
It got confirmed when I returned the item and return invoice says item Value was $949, though in paypal account I got $1199.
Worst ever experience and worst ever customer service!
