I worked with Michael Stevens and he was most helpful in the selection of my flash purchase. I needed the flash for a wedding I am doing in Chicago and he personally made sure that the camera would arrive on time.

"Bait & switch scam. Item showed in stock at site before, during and after I ordered. They NEEDED to talk to me by phone. Why? Everything showed good and isn't the purpose of ordering online is so you can do it anytime? They claimed it was out of stock. Probably never had any to start with. Tried to sell me something I did not want. I agreed to wait for the backorder. I checked the site 08-18-10 and the item showed in stock. I E-mailed them to go ahead and send the item since my credit card had been charged. They immediately canceled my order! "What a rip off site!…They play games to keep your money. Tell you an item has been received when it hasn't, give you tracking numbers that only show billing information received to make you think they are shipping the item, refund notifications for cancelled orders that never show up as refunds at the bank.
Update: 8/29/10 Cancelled both orders from the company. Received and email letting me know my order was cancelled and to expect a refund in 3 or 4 days...still no refunds. I was contacted about this review on 8/22/10 and offered a battery for my trouble but that does little to compensate me for a month of hassles and the loss of the use of this lens for several photography events. A company rep responsible for following these reviews asked me if I disputed the charges with my bank yet He said if I wait till Wednesday they think they can get my money transferred to my bank so I can use it and won't have to go thru the dispute process. Wednesday came and gone and not even a call from the company rep...it was probably just another delay tactic to keep my money a little longer. The open box lens I placed an order for is still listed on their website...most likely to bait other unsuspecting customers. Contacted customer service and they told me the lens would be shipped Thursday 8/17/10 at the latest but it was not.
Contacted their billing department and they told me the money was refunded on 8/12/10. Believe that was just another bogus email.I was told the ordered item was received two weeks ago and they were sending it to the warehouse for shipment. They even gave me a tracking number. To this date is shows billing information received.
This is just nuts and in the mean time they have over $15,000 of my money tied up (first order they said they couldn't bill and would cancel and the send order I placed because they were having trouble with the first order) and I can't get the lens from a legit reseller until they refund my money. Do you get the message...buyer beware!
I told them I would lodge complaints if they didn't follow thru and sure enough I am following through now of contacting some if not all complaint sights listed below. Other unsatisfied customers may want to do the same.

I placed an order number 62272 with this company on 29 July 2010 for an in stock open item - Nikon 400mm f2.8 VRII lens. You sent several emails saying that my credit card was declined so I thought that I must have mistyped my check card number.
I then placed a second order 62431 for the same item and asked the company to cancel the first order. They replied saying they would do that. I waited and waited but never got any further status. I then noticed that my check card had billed twice (both orders processed). On 1 Aug 2010 I sent a second email asking you to cancel order 62272 and process order 62431.
All this time I never received any emails giving me order status or problems with my order other than when they couldn't charge my card. I had to contact a sales representative by phone to find out that the item I order had already been sold and they were trying to order a new lens. The sales rep said he would take care of the double billing problem but nothing was done and I still have two charges on my card as of 8/24/10.
At the same time I asked the sales rep if the newly ordered lens was the Nikon 400mm f2.8 with VR II (The newer Nikon lens with better image stabilization) and at first it didn't sound like he new what I was talking about siting a SKU number. Then he said yes it was the newer VRII lens. After I placed my first order with your company I placed two orders with another company and they both arrived within three days. I received timely emails from them letting me know what was going on with my orders. Since the billing has not been corrected, the order was not in stock, and doubt about the lens I will actually get, I have lost all confidence in this company.
I will never do business with your company again. I belong to Nikon Professional Organization and the Nikonians organization. Both are international photo organizations with millions of users. I also work at the department of transportation supporting all national and state transportation agencies. I am posting these sites with the experience I have had with your company and telling them never to place an order with you. "
"I received a call from Michael Stevens in response to a delay about receiving my shipment. He assured me he would make up for the error by special ordering the product and shipping it to me. To make up for the confusion, he was also sending me a lens filter. This looks like an excellent solution to the delay of my order. I will update my review to reflect as my order is completed.

"Having read the numerous reviews about Accessory Circuit online, I figured I'd give them a try and earning my money.
I ordered a Canon Speedlite 430EX II since I A) needed one and B) Accessory Circuit 'seemed' to have the best price.
The day after the order I get an email stating I need to contact them regarding my order. I call them and get the "4-6 weeks backordered" statement and the rep offers to "upgrade" me to a Vivitar unit. I politely said "No Thanks" and that was pretty much the end of the call.
I had to then ask if I'd get an email when it shipped or any update on it and the rep said "Sure." and hung up.
I figure I'll wait for a couple of days and see what they do. Hopefully they'll ship, but I'm already prepared to cancel my order and pay full price elsewhere.

I received my Canon Flash today! $219 for a Canon Speedlite 430EX II is a pretty good deal!
Overall, I can't complain much. It took 11 days which is okay--I was in no extreme hurry, and they provided what I paid for. Would likely do business with again. "

"I orderd a Canon battery and charger online. I was called by Jay to inform me that the part I ordered was out of stock and would not be available for 4-6 weeks. He told me they had a better charger available and could upgrade my order for $15. The charger they sent was a Premium Tech pt-21 that sells for $12.09 on amazon and charged me $43(Jay said they would charge $37). Furthermore, the battery I ordered(sku 9612A001 ) for $33.99 was replaced with a generic knock off Power2000 ACD-239(amazon price is $ 2.58+shipp). I've been SCAMMED by accessorycircut.com. I was billed $76.99 for $15 worth of crap.

After posting this review, accessoryciircut.com contacted me and offered to buy a better rating from me. I will not sell my rating to the con-artists to allow more people to be ripped off. " I ordered a Canon NB-2LH Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery for my digital camera on Sunday. Within 45 minutes I got an email telling me that my order shipped and a tracking number was included. The battery arrived shortly after and I used it on my camping trip the next weekend. "I ordered a Nikon SB-600 AF Speedlight Flash at Accessorycircut.com on Wednesday. I selected 3-Day delivery because I wanted it for a friend’s wedding the next week. The next day I received a call from Jason and was told that the flash was on a slight backorder for seven days because they oversold (this didn’t surprise me because their price was $75 below the competition). I told the representative that I didn’t mind waiting even if I would get it after the wedding because the price was so low.
