"Everything was delivered as expected. Will do business with AccessoryCircut.com again"
"After I had placed my order they notified me on the same day that it was not in stock and I had a choice of waiting for the product to come in (2 weeks) or getting another flash that they offered, which I declined. It appears that this is a common trend with this website. They offered the best price so I choose to wait. Out of courtesy for the delay they changed my shipping (which was already free), without charge, and had it expidited to me. I got the product 4 weeks later, but since it was brand new and I saved the most by shopping with them, I was happy. I thought the customer service rep was helpful and courteous. I would shop with them again."
"So, after reading all the negative reviews I was very apprehensive about ordering from AC; however, the price was too low to pass up. Yes I got the call and informed that the item (A Sony Flash) was not in stock even though the web site said it was, and yes they tried to sell me another item, only natural, but I was not interested as I had a special application and did not want anything but what I had ordered. I was not in a hurry so I agreed to keep the item on order and wait the approximate 4 to 5 weeks estamated delivery time. I was concerned when the charge appeard on my credit card and called to confirm the order status. Their written policy is not to charge until the item is shipped and it had not been. I was assured the item would be in within the 4 to 5 weeks. At the 3 week mark I called to see if the status had changed and was told the item will be shipped out within the next 2 days. Low and behold the item arrived in less than 4 weeks from date of order. Item was new in the box, which appeard to have never been opened. Item works very well and I do not feel the extra wait time was excessive, especially with the amount of money I saved. I would not hesitate to order from this comapny again as it appears they have turned around some of the negativity that has been thrown at them. Thanks for the good customer service."
"I like several other people ordered the canon 430EX II and it was on backorder for 3-4 weeks. I opted to take the upgrade(sigma EF-530 DG super) they suggested because I needed the flash before the 3 to 4 weeks.
On my original order I entered a code for free shipping, which I did not recieve on my upgraded order. I emailed them and they took care of it. I then found the Sigma for sixty dollars less somewhere else. Upon emailing again I was told to call tomorrow. When I did I was told that they would not match the price but I would get a 30 dollar credit. Which would have been the price I was going to pay for the canon flash, but I was still paying for shipping. They then agreed to credit me 40 dollars. In the end I am satisfied but the process was difficult. Shipping was extremly fast I recieved it within 3 days."
"I know this has been said on here, but BEWARE!! I have had similar issues with this company as other reviews have stated on here. Here is my experience with this store:
I placed an order for a 580EX II and a 430EX II on September 13th, as they had the lowest prices on these units by quite a bit compared to other online retailers I could find. The item showed as in stock and would ship in 1-2 business days, so I placed my order. Even though their FAQ on their site said my card would not be charged until the units shipped, my card was charged right away.
Then I received a call from them the next day telling me that the units are actually on a 3 week backorder, but I could receive Sigma flash units instead. I mentioned how it said they were in stock on the site, and the rep came up with something along the lines of it being in stock at a "warehouse" but they just need to get it ordered over. I declined their offer as I need the Canon units to work with my 7D wireless ETTL flash.
I tried to wait patiently, but became a little inpatient as the unit hadn't shipped yet. I called them after 3 weeks with no status update (around October 4th), and they said that the unit was going to be shipped out that day and I would have it by Thursday (October 7th). October 7th came around and still no shipping verification.
I waited a little while longer as their business practice was extremely sub-par up to this point, so why would I believe it should get better? Finally, on October 12th, I received a shipping notification that the unit was ready to ship. Eagerly checking the UPS tracking number daily, it stayed in this status for 10 DAYS! After those 10 days, I finally saw that UPS had it in their possession.
I eventually received both units on October 25, 6 WEEKS after I placed the order and my card was charged. The units looked new as stated, and so far they have worked good.
If this was a review for the units, I would give it 5 out of 5, but because this is a review for the company, I must give them a 1 out of 5 as I believe their customer service and business practices were shady at best. While I did eventually receive the product, I would not order from this company again as the hassle was not worth the extra cost savings."
"My name is Richard Moore and I'm an amateur photographer in Seattle, WA (richardtmoore.com). The following is a true and accurate account of my transaction with AccessoryCircut.com.
10/15/10 morning - Placed order on website (#67452) for one "Canon 430EX II Speedlite E-TTL II Shoe-Mount Flash (Guide No. 141 ft. @43 m at 105mm)." The website was easy to use and about what I'd expect. The price was about $30 less than the next merchant according to Google Products.
10/15/10 afternoon - Got voicemail and email to call regarding an 'issue.' I called back. Representative politely explained item above was back-ordered for 3 weeks and wanted to make sure that I didn't need it right away. He then proceeded to read from a script regarding the Sigma EF-530 Super DG and explained it was in stock for $250 out-the-door. This was annoying, but I did not feel pressured to commit on the phone. I explained I would research and call him back. After researching, I concluded that the Sigma is a good flash, but I decided that I'd rather have the Canon for my purposes and the Sigma was then available from B&H for $199.95.
10/16/10 - I emailed back stating that I was prepared to wait for the Canon flashes to come back in stock. I also wrote to "go ahead and process this order." Later that day I received a email confirmation that it would ship in 3 weeks.
10/17/10 - Credit card was charged for the correct amount.
10/19/10 and 10/20/10 - I had an email exchange with representative Rebbeca Court who was very quick to respond, including an email late in the evening. I had asked to cancel the order, but Rebbeca assured me it was actually going to ship soon, that I would get a tracking number when it shipped, and that it was in fact the Canon 430EX II that was shipped. I was asked to leave a positive review.
10/20/10 - Package was shipped via UPS from Brooklyn, NY.
10/27/10 - I received the flash: it was new, functioning, and seems to work great.
I've avoided editorializing on AccessoryCircut.com the best I can. I will say that in general, it's not uncommon for some photography equipment merchants to try package deals or up-sell consumers since the margin on the primary product is low. I was not shocked to receive the call & email from the merchant as I've had this happen several times before from other merchants. Overall rating is '4 stars' since while the price was great and the shipping quick, it is a hassle to have to talk with the merchant after placing the order."
"Ordered Nikon SB-600 flash and like most people received the call that the flash was on back order for 3 weeks. The the salesperson told me that he had a superior flash that he could sell it to me for $10 more that the nikon flash. When he gave me the model of the flash it was a vivitar flash with a fake model number. I could not find the model anywhere because it was a vivitar df-383 that you can buy anywhere on the web for $100. He said it was a vivitar 548 but when i called vivitar customer service they told me that does not exist their best flash was the df-383. This company is very dishonest and it's sad they have to resort to suck tactics to sell. I hope everyone that get scammed by them call the Attorney General and the BBB to report this thieves."
"Do Not BUY from the company they are a total SCAM!! They are NOT authorized to sell Nikon products. Therefore they will not have the flashes in stock. Based upon other peoples reviews it doesn't seem like they sell anything other than Vivitar products.
Also, richard says they sell 15,000 flashes a month...interesting because when i've called to complain it is the same person's voice he has given me several names...michael, richard and one other. Also, when i've gotten e-mails from Rebecca, i can never get her on the phone.....I question if they actually sell that many flashes because you would need more than one person handeling everything.
Just like everyone else i ordered a Nikon sb600 flash got a call saying it was out of stock....I said i was willing to wait, but he reassured me the flash he recommended (vivitar pro) was so much better. I agreed to try the new flash, i then researched that flash and could not find any reviews, but found several "bad" reviews of Accessory circut.
I contacted them the via e-mail the next day and they were out of the office until Monday. I got a call from Richard saying i was doing a big mistake for not getting the flash. I said i didn't want it and he said to contact customer service on monday. I did so, and they said they'd refund me it in full when they received the flash. It is now over a month later. And i got an e-mail saying i got refunded for 189.99 intsead of 199. Still waiting to get the confirmation from my credit card company
10-27-10-- i have been in contact after several e-mails that they will refund me the other $10 that they owe me.....It was a pain though.... And now i just got an e-mail from Reseller Ratings that Accessory Circut is denying i ever purchased anything. I am guessing they are doing it in hopes this will be deleted. I have since sent Resseller a copy of my invoice of the purchase. I will be more than happy to send them any e-mails that have been exchanged to prove Accessory Circut is trying to pull another scam

"I ordered 2 batteries for my panasonic DVX-100A camcorder and paid to have them shipped 2 day. I got a call that day telling me my batteries were back ordered so they got me to buy 2 more expensive batteries that could be shipped out immediately. Come the following TUES (6 days after initial order) I still had not received my order. I needed the batteries for a shoot on Sun and Mon! When I called back customer service the first guy was totally unhelpful. I was then transferred to Michael who I spoke with on Monday who then assured me my order was arriving today and was very apologetic for the mishap. He assured me they would make it right by reimbursing me for the shipping. I'm glad I got 2 better batteries out of it, I just wished they had arrived in time to actually be used for what they were purchased for."
"I purchased a canon 430EX II. There was a delay in shipping but they did make it right at the end. I am happy with my purchase despite the lenghty delay in shipping. "
"I had some issues with the store, since I bought two products, but the ones I received didn't belong to the same brand. The customer service department just contacted me and they gave me a solution for this problem. For the moment I can say that the customer services works well since they contacted me fastly and efficiently."
"Ultimately, happy with my purchase. The price beat out the next closest competitor by 30%. The only complaint that I had was the delivery time...it took over 2 weeks for the item to arrive. But, with the price differential to offset the lag in delivery...I felt it a good trade-off. Pretty responsive Customer Service as well...good communication.
I would recommend this seller for the price-conscious consumer, who is willing to sacrifice time for value."
"Wish I read all these reviews before!! I called the sales team and they told me the item is in stock and asked me to place an order online. I then purchased the Canon 430ex II right after I hung up. However, like everyone else, I was informed there was an issue with your order.
The customer service reps told me the item was backordered for 3-4 weeks but he could send me a Sigma one today. I declined the offer and agreed to wait. I was told I would be charged immediately.
I really hope I can get my flash. But after reading all the negative reviews I am quite worried about my order. Hope I won't get scammed."
"Placed an order for Canon Speedlite 430EX II flash. Got an email saying "there is problem with your order - please call us." Called back and was told it is out of stock for three weeks but Sigma is available. I politely declined and said that I will wait for Canon to get in stock - I hope it comes.
11/11/2010 update. The flash arrived and is exactly as expected. Overall my experience with this vendor is OK given the very low price - as long as you are an educated consumer and stand your ground on what you want to order."
"I purchased a Pentax AF-540 FGZ Flash. I have been search and searching but everyone wanted $400.00 plus. I finally found it at AccessoryCircuit for $324.00 I was very pleased. I put my order in immediately. Unfortunately, just like other people I was emailed telling me "there was an issue with my order" Just like I read in other reviews they tried to do the samething to me. They wanted me to buy a similar unit. Otherwise, I would have to wait for 3 or 4 weeks. I was not convinced and told the party who attended my call that I would wait. Because, I truly want this unit. I truly hope I won't be scammed. "
