"I ordered a Canon 580ex flash from their website. It stated it was available. But I then received an email stating that they didn't have the flash and it would take a few days to get it in. It has been now 12 days and still no flash. I called twice and still get the same run around about waiting on the flash. They already charged my credit card! I went ahead and ordered the same flash from Amazon and waiting now to cancel this order and get a refund. This is a scam!"

"I ordered a Canon 430EX II flash from Accessory Circut. The price was much great, much cheaper than other places! I was also able to get free shipping and no tax! The flash is great! the only negative is that the order was delayed a week because it was in back order, but they did call and told me so. Overall it was a great experience, unless I need the item to come quickly!"

"Well, I didn't think I would have to write my review here, but I just fell into the "bait and switch" scam from this seller. I ordered a Nikon SB-600 and shortly got another email saying "there was issue with your order and please call this number......" Called the next day and the customer rep said my product was on backordered and will take 4-6 weeks. He offered a "better" product and INSISTED it was WAY better and can give it to me the same price as the Nikon. I called back a few min later for them to cancel that order and keep my original product. They said it was "already" shipped, but I have 14 days to return it if I don't like it. Okay...that's reasonable.....well......I checked their return policy on their website and it said that flashes are NOT eligible for credit, refund or exchange. WOW, this is bad....so I did my research online and found that many customers were scammed this way and was switched to an INFERIOR product than what they originally ordered. Needless to say, I contacted my credit card company to dispute this charge and they will investigate on my behalf. Seriously, would you work with a scamming and dishonest seller and wait for them to refund you or work out a solution? I dont think so.....who knows how long they will take to give your money back or will they even refund you at all. I am not taking any chances. This is a lesson learned.....PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH before you order from any company online for the first time. By the way, I'm sure the seller will come back to this review and refute my claim.....hahaha....yea....I think similar experiences from other customers out there will show them to be liars....go ahead and try talk your way out of this, accessorycircut.com. Please also check your spelling on your invoice......you also have accessorycircuit.com (with the "i"). If I can give a rating of my choice for this seller...it will be NEGATIVE stars.

"This reminds me of an old saying Price, Speed, Quality take any 2 minus the other. So in dealing with AccessoryCircut on this product, a Canon 430EX II Speedlite E-TTL II flash, I can say that the price is excellent and the quality of the gear is excellent but unless you have 5 weeks to wait the Speed is slow. If you have the time to wait like me then everything is good."

"Another bait & switch experience. Ordered brand-name flash at a large discount compared to other online sites. Received call trying to convince me to purchase an off-brand alternative flash. I refused, and they said they could send me the flash I wanted if I could wait three weeks. Gave them approval to do so. They subsequently canceled my order. In the four weeks or so since I placed the order, their website has continued to show the flash I ordered as "in-stock, ships in two days"!!

When I called to ask about the order after I learned that they had canceled it, they again tried to sell me another brand flash.

My advice …...... Don't EVER deal with Accessory Circut ! ! !

It is very apparent after reading these reviews, they have deceived many other customers, in the same way they have me.
Add to that, the most appalling customer service I have ever come across and I wouldn’t go near this company if you paid me.

I only wish I had of read these reviews before placing an order with them.

Like many other reviews before mine, I placed an order on line and a week later received a phone call saying the item was out of stock and I would be looking at a 6 week wait. I was then sold a more expensive item which WAS in stock.....what a surprise!

They took my credit card number, but told me it had declined, which was very surprising. I then gave them another credit card, which they told me was accepted.

I checked my credit card statements (thankfully) and noticed I had been charged on both of the credit card numbers I had given them.
I contacted the company immediately and they agreed to look into. I also sent screen shots of my credit card statements so they could see both charges.

However I don’t think they never actually read my emails or even looked in to it.
This is evident because each time I contacted them, despite dealing with the same 2 people, I had to explain the ENTIRE situation over and over and over again.

In addition to emailing and getting no reply at all, I have also called numerous times only to be told the person I need to speak to ‘isn’t available’
I have left messages each time, asking for them to call me back. 2 months on, I am still waiting for that call.

They claim to have contacted their bank (a process that took them over 3 weeks) and finally replied rudely to one of my emails today, telling me they don’t see that I was charged twice. Yet, both of MY banks confirm each charge…….??????

I have spent 2 months trying unsuccessfully to get a refund for the double charge and have now had to file a claim with my bank.

In this environment, with so many people out of work, you would think Accessory Circuit could find employees with at least some basic customer service skills and some knowledge of investigating a dispute.
Although in saying that, due to the amount of customers Accessory Circut have ripped off ….. customer retention obviously isn’t a priority.

"I ordered the Nikon SB-600 flash. As expected, after reading the reviews here, got a call saying that the flash is backordered and expected in 4 weeks, although the web site clearly says the flash is in stock and at no point after my order the status changed to backordered. I told them, that I read this story numerous times in their reviews, they shouldn't bother trying to change my order and I will wait, since I am in no hurry. On August 27th, I saw a good deal on a used flash, so I called them asking to cancel my order. I was told that my order has already shipped and I will receive it shorly. I said, fine, I will wait. Today (September 1) out of the blue, I received an email saying that my money was refunded. Clearly the flash was never shipped and when they figured out that the bait and switch wouldn't work, they just refunded the money. Dishonest seller, I wouldn't waste the time with them.

09.01.2010 Update: Mike just called me from AccessoryCircuit and said the reason they refunded my card was because this flash is no longer available (it still says in-stock on their site). However, he said he has one flash that he will be happy to send to me, if I change my review here to 5 stars. He said he will be taking this flash from somebody else and giving it to me. I said I'd change the number of stars, when I receive the flash. Mike responded that he will only send me the flash, if I change the review first. I said I would not do that. We agreed that I will leave my review and will not get the flash.
Makes you wonder how many of the 5 star reviews they have were earned this way...

09.07.2010: Dear M Stevens, neither you nor anybody from your company left me a voicemail. I did receive an email from Rebbeca today (again somewhat out of the blue) saying that my flash has arrived and I should call her, if I still want it. I politely declined, since this is no way to conduct business!!! I do love that Sep 02 review (1 day after mine) for the exact same flash from AccCircut. Could've at least used a more imaginative user name!

"I ordered a canon 430 EX II flash and found that Accessory Circuit had the best price on the internet. I read several complaints/compliments and did not want to have the same problems many experienced. I called Michael Stevens (who was mentioned in an earlier review) up front and asked him if there would be a delay and he said yes, but anticipated a 2 week delay. Sure enough two weeks later I was notified the
flash was on it's way. I received the flash on 8-30-10 and it
works GREAT. This company did as expected and I will do
business again with Accessory Circuit. On 9-8-10, I received a follow up call to see if I received the flash and if it worked properly. This is a GREAT company to do business with. I will order from them again. Thank you
