"I got a call from Michael Stevens (ext. 301)after he read the review below, and wanted to rectify the issue, and see how he could help. We had a frank conversation and I told him that I had ordered the teleconverter from another site. I let him know that I would give them another chance with the next order and I would inform him when I did so. He is supposed to send me his email address for the same. As a consumer, I would advise future customers to proceed cautiously. I wonder if he would have called me if I had not written a scathing review; by the same token (with due respect to Accessorycircuit), I wonder if I would have written a review if I had received good service.
A bait and switch operation - DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I ordered a Nikon SB 900 flash and a 2.0X Teleconverter - both listed in stock; I received a call and the rep "James" at ext 302 stated that the flash was out of stock and would be a 5 week delay. But he could sell me other flash units. When he recognized that I new a lot about cameras and flashes, he basically shut up. I told him to cancel the flash order but go ahead and ship the teleconverter. I then received an email saying that my order had been cnacelled. When I called back and spoke to the same person, he told me that the teleconverter "ships from a different warehouse, and would be 4-5 weeks." So the entire order was cancelled. These guys are untrustworthy, and I would bet you that if you book any decent Nikon order with them, you will not receive the order and they will try to sell you something else. The good reviews on this site are extremely hard to believe; and I am dubious that they are written by true customers. If it looks like the price is too good to be true - it is probably the case. Beware - and don't waste your time - just look at what is the most coomon term in all the reviews about them - Bait and switch. I should have looked at these reviews before ordering. Stick with vendors listed on Amazon - I have not had any issues with any of them (thus far)."
"Our Nikon battery charger had disappeared and we had ordered a replacement. We were sent a better Vivitar charger for the price of the original . We relocated our original Nikon charger and are being allowed to return the original Vivitar charger with a refund. We were treated fairly
and courteously and we will do business again.

11/23/09 I wish I had discovered this site BEFORE I placed an order. The "IN STOCK" item I purchased was 1133B001 Canon CB-2LX Charger for Canon NB-5L Lithium Battery Pack. I also received an email next day item is backordered for 6-8 weeks. I was also offered a substitute. I advised csutomer service rep, website shows in stock and update immediately, leave item on backorder and DO NOT charge my cc. I requested an email stating backordered and restock date. I did rec email 3-5 weeks expected.
Item is still "IN STOCK" as of today. Now you all know this item will never be available.
This behavior is not acceptable. I will be canceling this order and collecting all information to forward to the BBB and AG of MA (my home state) and NY (company home state).
I will also be contacting all search engines that list this company to inform them of this bait and switch policy.
This needs to be stopped."
"I ordered a Nikon SB-400 Speedlight i-TTL Shoe Mount Flash (Guide No. 98'/30 m at 18mm) thru their web site and received a call next day saying that the item is back ordered and it will take few weeks before they can get it and suggested to some other brand names instead. I had couple other experiences with some stores like this and cancelled my order. Their web store front showed this item as in stock. The service rep was polite and cancelled my order. I wanted this unbit by a specific date and had to order it else where and pay for next day delivery."
"Typical BAIT and SWITCH. Ordered a Sony flash HVL-F36AM. Got a call the next day telling me that the flash was on backorder even though the website showed In-Stock. They offered some other brand instead, because it might take up to 6 weeks for the Sony to come in again. I told them I'll wait for the Sony. Called them in July. Website still showed 'In-Stock'. Was told still on backorder and might not come in from Sony before August. Again offered some other no-name alternative. Did decline. E-mailed them on September 5 since I did not receive the item. A Rebecca Court responded 'will actually be here as per sony by weeks end J'. Whatever that means. Still did not get the product I wanted.
I will NEVER try to buy at this company again and I strongly recommend the same to everybody else.
This is BAD business!
12/10: AccessoryCircut claimed that I never placed an order with them and wanted to have my review removed. I am glad that I kept the order confirmation :)

"After an initial mix-up with my order (I ordered a tripod, was told it wasn't in stock and then was sent the wrong model - these things happen!) I was contacted by a regional manager from Accessory Circut who subsequently went above and beyond to rectify the situation, contacting me at home, providing me with his personal cell number, overnighting the correct item AND allowing me to keep the initial shipment as a token of apology. I am seriously impressed by this customer service and am very happy with the outcome."

"I am very unhappy with this company. I ordered a Canon flash on 09/27/2009, and the next day I received a call saying it was backordered (even though the website says it's in stock, and still did as of noon today). They tried to sell me another flash, that was supposed to be "so much better" for a cheaper price. I decided against it. They told me it would ship out sometime around October 20th. When I never heard anything, I contacted them inquiring if the item was in stock yet (note, the website still said in stock) and I was told no, and AGAIN persuaded to buy the other flash. I responded no and told them that they needed to correct their website since it's lying to potential customers, and told them to cancel my order. I would stay away from this company, typical bait and switch situation.
UPDATE: I just wanted to update everyone that their website STILL shows this item in stock, and when I try to email the company, all i get is a response that says "please call the sales team." What is the point of them having a contact email if you can't use it? Awful company.."
"I ordered a replacement battery for my Sony camera, and it was shipped to me promptly. It didn't fit into my camera, and I notified Customer Service that it was too big and that I had received the wrong one. They replied with a phone number to call, which I did. That same day a representative called me and I explained the problem. He said to just send it back and they would find another, although he was at a loss as to why this one did not fit. I then discovered that I had tried to put it into my backwards. When I charged up my camera with this battery, charged it and inserted it correctly, it works fine. I appreciate this quick, courteous response to my query to Customer Service, and I will do business with them in the future. Irma Evans."
