"I can't believe I've been burned ordering on the internet. I wish I had seen this site before I ordered from Accessory Circuit (with a questionable i). I ordered the recommended charger kit for my Canon Powershot A610 (CBK4-200), I got a message to call them on my answering machine, the next day another message and when I did call them they told me the kit was on back order and they wouldn't have it for everal weeks. To make a long story short, he was willing to upgrade me to a better charger, give me a $20 coupon and only charge me $9 more than my original charger would have cost. Regretfully he sent me the Kodak Value Charger K620-C which sells for a lot less than the $29 they charged me for it and is apparently not the high grade charger they said they were sending.
I can't believe I fell for this. I'm a decent person, I'm a widow, I go to Mass almost daily, I'm kind to animals, charitable with my fellow man, how could I be this stupid? I'm angry with myself for believing the young man who was "helping" me, so I wouldn't miss taking pictures during the holidays. I will contact my credit card company to see if I can do anything. It's kind of like the terrorist, they destroy your trust and take away some of your freedom. I won't be so trusting with internet retailers again."
"I placed an order for a flash unit for a Nikon SLR camera for a Christmas gift on December 12th. It was shown as in stock and immediately after ordering I received a confirmation that it was in shipping. Today the 17th I still have not received it so I checked the order status and it still says "in shipping". It appears there is no way this will be received in time for Christmas. Had I known this I would have ordered from another retailer and paid a few dollars more. When I called the company I got a voice recording that the customer service is only open Monday - Friday 10:00 to 6:00! What kind of retail customer service is that? I wish I had read the reviews before I had used this company."
"I placed 2 orders through AC lately, and I should have done my research before hopping on a good deal for a Camera Flash for my fiance for Christmas.
I placed my first order on Black Friday, and after a week or so of waiting, I checked in with Customer Service to see what was up with my order. They said that the product was on "National Backorder and could not be shipped until after Christmas." I told them to hold on, and I'd get back to them. After contacting them again a little while later, they mentioned that my card was declined. Actually, that was my bad. It wasn't declined, but I put a hold on it for an unrelated reason.
So I placed another order on 12/10 WHILE ON THE PHONE with a rep from AC. He claimed "YES. They are in stock. It will ship out Monday." Okay. I placed the order... a week later, my order says "Ready to Ship."
It should have been here by now, and it hasn't left? Let me guess. National Backorder. I wish I had done my research before purchasing something from this store. I don't care what happens at this point. My fiance will not be able to take pictures of the kids on Christmas with her new flash.
Thanks, AC.com.

"12/23/10 well I thought all was going well with my order and then I received this email
“Due to unexpected volume this holiday season, we have not been able to fulfill all of our orders. Our vendors simply could not keep up with the demand; therefore we have credited your card in the amount of $303.99. Should the case arise where the credit does not appear on your statement within 3 business days you will need to contact your issuing bank. You should be able to find the appropriate contact number on the back of your credit card or a recent credit card billing statement. You should advise your bank that you have a charge which you are disputing and would like an immediate refund of the charge. Should there be any further questions feel free to contact us at ***-***-****â€
So in short even after calling before I ordered to make sure the items (a Canon 430ex II flash and a tripod) were in stock and I was assured they were, I called again after I placed the order for confirmation and I was told the order would ship out on Monday 12/20 and I should receive it no later than Wednesday 12/22. Then low and behold on Tuesday 12/21 I receive the above email. I am so ANGRY and as of today my bank does not show any refund was issued and that the company had already posted the transaction (most reputable companys do not post the transaction until the order ships) so I had file a dispute with the bank which could take up to 10 business days to get my money refunded so no flash for Christmas for me!
I should have trusted my instincts and never ordered from a company with so many bad reviews. Please take my advice and order from a reputable company do not be enticed by unrealistically low prices because when something seems to be too good to be true it usually is. Arrrgggg What a Scam!!!

"I ordered a charger for my Olympus camera battery - and only after going to way too many sites and looking at way too manay possibilities. After finally making a decision and ordering, I got an email saying that tyey had been trying to reach me using the # I had given but couldn't. Today, mid afternoon, I get a call telling me that there was a 4 week "national backorder and that they could send me the more expensive one for extra money. I said that the charger had been listed on the site as "in stock" and that it sounded like bate and switch and that I'd wait. Then he said that "they were offering a $10.00 coupon last week but that he could apply it to this order". With some hesitation, I said, OK. The difference amounted to about $4.
I just read another report of bait and switch from the same seller and in fact the same guy with the same story but for a Cannon charger. This is clearly a seller to be very carefull with. It might help to place orders on the phone and get them to tell you rightthen and there that the item you want is in stock."
"I guess I was duped!! I ordered a CBK4-300 battery and charging kit from this company. This was the recommended charger and batteries for my Canon. I was soon called by the company and told that the kit was out of stock but the company could send a much better charger and higher capacity batteries. I reluctantly agreed because I was going on vacation. I charged both sets of batteries as directed in the kit and placed in my camera bag. When my alkaline batteries needed replacement, I inserted the recharged batteries. I was able to take 7 pictures!! I inserted the second set of batteries and was able to take 11 pictures!! Then I was left with a dead camera on vacation with no chance of buying alkaline batteries until my tour ended. I missed out on many great photo ops because of the junk this company conned me into buying. "
"I recently ordered a Canon CB-2LV Charger after I had misplaced the one that came with my camera. I ordered from AccessoryCircuit because their prices seemed reasonable and they were one of the only places that carried the Canon brand charger. A day after I placed my order, I received a phone call that the charger was back-ordered 3-4 weeks so I decided to just order a comparable one. Granted, the one they talked me into was $30 more with the selling point of shorter charging time, the addition of a car charger, & free shipping so I had no problem paying the extra money. I received my charger on 12/6/10 and a day earlier my original charger was found so I called the customer service department about returning the charger in it's original package. I spoke with a supervisor and he said they did not return chargers, and gave me no explanation as to why. I referred back to their policy page which states that they offer returns or exchange on most items within 14 days. It also states:
"The following products are not acceptable for credit, refund, or exchange and must be repaired or handled by the manufacturer or a manufacturers' authorized service centers: Blister-packed items, tripods, opened media, including tapes, cd's or dvd's, lights, flashes, extended warranties, lenses,Batteries, filters."
I called back to receive clarification on "blister-packed" items as this is vague wording and could refer to virtually any item. The charger came in a hard-plastic package (blister packing)which I told them I never opened. They told me that they don't return chargers because "people will go on vacation" and use them and try to return them" but I tried explaining to them that I never opened it and there is no way to get into blister packing without cutting into it, but they refused to work with me.
The bottom-line is that they were very unprofessional on the phone with me and would not directly answer my questions. They just kept passing me off to different representatives. If anything I want to warn others so no one else is caught in a similar situation with this company. In addition, I am going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about my experience with Accessory Circuit.
12/7/10 3:15PM Michael Stevens, the customer services manager, contacted me regarding my experience and agreed to rectify the problem for me with a full refund."
"This is an update. Almost immediately after posting this review, Customer Service sent me an email saying they would send my battery the next Monday and asked that I re-evaluate my review. Well it's over two week since then and still no battery. So my review stands. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY! Total rubbish for customer support. Ordered a Canon LP-E6 battery on 12 June, they didn't ship it until 21 August and when the envelope arrived via USPS, it was open and empty. After 11 email exchanges with Customer Service I still don't have a battery or a refund."
"After scouring the Internet for the best price for a Nikon SB-600 Flash unit I discovered AccessoryCircut. I did a little checking as the previous best price I found was a bait-and-switch operation that would call you after you place your order and offer you an overpriced, inferior substitute for whatever name-brand item you were buying (most often photography gear.)
After placing the order with AccessoryCircut, I was concerned that they, too, were one of those operations, but the price was too hard to ignore.
The next day, I did indeed get a call from them, which in my pessimism, I assumed was that call. The gentlemen on the other side of the phone seemed confused and maybe a bit defensive and told me that he had only called to tell me that they were preparing my order.
Take that for what it's worth, but I did indeed get the Nikon SB-600 as promised on Dec 1. I promised when I ordered that I would give a positive review on ResellerRatings if I got what I ordered and here I am and here it is.
I got what I ordered and saved a bunch of money. I have nothing to gripe about! I wish others the same success."
"My original ordered item was on backorder, they suggested an alternate part that was slightly more expensive, which I accepted. It turns out that AccessoryCircuit's price for that item was several dollars *lower* than other vendors were selling it for, and it seems to be a very good filter according to reviewers.
They shipped first-class mail, so I received it very quickly. Shipping prices were somewhat high, probably because of first class mail.
They were *very* quick and responsive in responding to email queries, which is unusual in this industry.
I am quite satisfied with my experience with them, and recommend them to others."
"I ordered the Canon CBK4-300 AA Battery and Charger Kit which their site showed to be in stock. I was contacted the next day and told that the item was "on national backorder." I have since been in contact with Michael in their customer service department. He has promised to get me the item I've ordered within a week and expedite shipping. As a result I am giving a better review which I will revisit and update once I have received the product."
"Don't deal with these guys unless you enjoy being stressed. Bait and switch aside- Ordered a flash (430exII) for christmas, was assured, GUARANTEED it would get here in time. They called right before christmas canceling my order. Thanks a whole lot guys.
Went through Amazon instead, and including shipping ended up being the same price, minus the bulls**t.
If you're thinking on doing business with AccessoryCircuit, Read all of these reviews. I wish I had before I bought."
"Excellent customer service. Quality product and competitive price. Fast shipping. Smooth transaction. Would recommend."
"Order was delayed but got a follow up call from Micheal and the camera will ship with expedited shipping.
--thanks Accessory Circut"
"I ordered a Nikon SB600 flash which the website indicated was in stock. As posted in other reviews for this merchant, I receive a call not two days later from a rep saying it's on back order for four weeks and offering to sell me an (inferior) alternative that will easily arrive by Christmas. Knowing that these units are readily available from other vendors like Best Buy, Walmart, Adorama, and B&H, I simply canceled the order and left a scathing review on this site, resellerratings.com.
The very next day I received a call from Michael, a rep who's not happy at all with the poor review I left here. He promises me if I change my tune and give him a complimentary review instead, he'll call in a favor, pull a flash that's already spoken for and send it out to me right then. So I change my review and 5 minutes later receive a tracking number by email, and three days later an SB600 shows up at my door.
I have no idea what happened behind the scenes, but apparently a poor review on this site triggered their customer service into action. Two thumbs up for getting the flash I ordered at a good price, but two thumbs down for how I was treated prior to Michael stepping in and setting things right."
