"I had a very good experience with my order. I contacted their customer service department, before ordering, to check on potential delays in getting the product that I wanted. I was told that the item was back ordered and it would ship in 2 weeks from the day I placed the order. I had a few email inquiries to make sure everything was on track, and it was. The product shipped 2 weeks and 2 days after it was ordered and I received it 2 days after it was shipped.
I honestly was a little skeptical of this company after reading some of the reviews here. However, their Customer Service Manager, Rebecca, was outstanding in communicating with me throughout the process. Whenever I sent an email inquiry on weekends, weekdays or any time of day, I received a reply within hours. She assured me that everything was tracking as planned. She gave me the confidence to place my initial order and I will not hesitate to come back to them in the future."
"On November 19 I ordered a Nikon AF-S Nikkor 400mm f2.8G ED VR Lens that was advertised as being in BRAND NEW condition but with an open box. I called immediately after placing the order (Friday at 9AM) to inquire about why the box was open and if the lens had been used in the field. I was assured that it was brand new and that they "open the box of all high end lenses to make sure all components were included". I did not buy this but felt they had assured me that it had not been used in the field to that point in time. I asked when I would get it and was told it would ship late that day or early Monday and I would have it by Wednesday...in time for the football game I was shooting Thursday.
Monday I had not recieved tracking information and after a few e-mails I called and was told they were having trouble getting my order approved by their bank...I asked why their bank was concerned since my AMEX card had already authorized the charge. I was subsequently told that they would ship it Tuesday AM and I would get it Wednesday.
On Tuesday morning at 10 I followed up again looking for the tracking information and was told that my charge had not passed their verification department until that morning and now that it had it would ship that day and I would get the lens on Friday.
Later Tuesday11/23, at 5:19 in the afternoon, I got an e-mail telling me that my order had not passed verification and that I would receive a full refund of my $7,498. I called and inquired as to how they had managed to decide that a transaction that Amex had approved was not a valid transaction especially since my e-mail is tied to my photography site that lists the same name and address that they had on the order....the gentleman continued to be insulting and dishonest with me....Amex later verified that they had gotten an authorization for the charge from Amex on the day of purchase, but never put the charge through to request payment...so his claims had all been untruths including his statement that they had issued a refund....I called him back and got some other story about how he was choosing not to do business with me and then I got a seperate e-mail saying that my Amex rep was not telling me the truth and that the lens "was not the most pristine condition". Yeah, I bet Amex is the dishonest company here.
I would not shop here if you are counting on getting what you are trying to get...it cost me the opportunity to have the proper equiptment when I photographed from the sidelines of my first NFL game...I will make due with a shorter lens and a teleconverter...you would have a tough time solving the problem they leave you with just before the holidays.
To fall short of delivering an item is bad, but it happens....to provide such poor customer service along the way is deplorable....to be repeatedly dishonest and insulting on the phone and over e-mail for 5 days is inexcusable.
Immediately following my filing of this review, I began to receive harassing and intimidating e-mails from the accessorrycircut.com customer service line. These escalated to the point where they threatened to go out of their way to have a large number of people file bogus complaints about "my poor service" in my photography business, one e-mail was of my home page surrounded with derogatory comments as an example of what they would populate the internet with. Another threatened to say things about "how I talked to and treated women and children" it also threatened their use of resources in India to publish thousands of complaints.
I am bringing this matter to the attention of the Attorney General in both California and New York tomorrow morning.
All I ever asked them for was either to complete the sale as promised or to admit they had been deceptive and shabby in their treatment of me as a customer starting with their false advertisement and continuing through the latest e-mails and to apologize for it. Instead they chose to send me 16 negative, harassing, and intimidating e-mails over a 2 hour period.
As others have posted the response they posted is completely untrue. Amex immediately approved the transaction and all of the order information matches my photography website... I have notified the DA and AG offices in Brooklyn and American Express who are all planning to "look into this further".
Eventually I was contacted by a person who claimed to be "CEO" and "very concerned about the behavior of his employees". He offered to "make this right" by having me purchase the lens from B&H or Adorama and reimbursing me the difference in price. He even sent me a check...of course it was not signed, so I could not cash it. Over the past three days I have had more misleading and ridiculous contact.
This company has been dishonest and rude in its dealings with me over the last three weeks. Good luck should you choose to waste your money and time with them.
I hope this helps you keep from ending up in a bad situation."
"I recently ordered a pro flash from AccessoryCircut and when I received it I was not happy with the way it worked on my camera. I contacted them and let them know how I was feeling and they (Rebbeca & Michael) went above and beyond to help me get the flash that would work. I can not say enough great things about them! Great service!! Thank you again AccessoryCircut!!"
"dont bother with this store - bait and switch. i odrered canon flash. got an email to call them to find out that its out of stock but i could get a sigma instead - bulls@#t
All good reviews you see are the ones they write by themselves"
"Cannot say enough good things about the quality of service that Accessory Circut gave us. We made our purchase over the internet initially; I then received a call in regards to our purchase to let us know that there was possibly a better choice for the money. This is truly going beyond the call of duty when it comes to customer service. Our order we placed was received very promptly. I would recommend Accessory Circuit to anyone really wanting true customer service and a company you can trust to service your needs! Thx. Chuck"
" AccessoryCircut.
UPDATE - It turns out that the "helpful" follow-up call advising me that the product I ordered was "back-ordered" so, they suggested that I "upgrade" to a product they had in stock. This was purely and simply a "Bait and switch" scam. I will never use this company again!
They ripped me off for $140

"AccessoryCircuit.com BAIT & SWITCH company! STAY AWAY. I ordered Canon 430EX II Speedlite E-TTL II Shoe-Mount Flash (sku#2805B002) from AccessoryCircut.com on Nov 14, 2010. On Nov 16, 2100 at 2:40PM the Sales Representative had called me and they have a back order on this item for 4-6 weeks and he had better flash as a replacement that were shipping me a big discount. He then sent me to sigmaphoto.com and had me search on the item which failed and he said he had report s their site was under repair. After I thought about it I call him back a 2:27PM and at 2:29PM but no answer (mail box full). 2:30 I then call 1-***-***-**** and told Michael Stevens to cancel the order. He told me that he could not because it had already shipped but not to worry as they had a return policy for the item with full refund and ato match the lowest price on the web for the item. He then gave me the Part # for the replacement flash. I then when and look it up on the web (Amazon) and found it for $80.00 less. I call Michael Stevens back and again told him to cancel the order and again he said he could not but would give me $50.00 off if I like and product. I again told me that I could just return it for 100% of my money back. After check with UPS the sender of the package can have the pack rerouted back to the sender, I Michael Stevens again and told him to cancel the order and have the package return to the sender. He put me on hold and then returns in few seconds and told me UPS would not and told me refuse the shipment and have it return to sender. I also ask him for the address to ship it back in case I missed the driver (different from the one on their website) and a RMA number which he gave me as 69535RF. I also sent several emails to cancel the order if they could not send the Canon 430EX II.
I believe that AccessoryCircuit has a fraud for the following reasons
• Send something of lesser value than what was ordered.
• Fail to deliver in a timely manner.
• Fail to disclose all relevant information about a product or terms of the sale.
11/24/2010 You did not leave a voicemail but you did send an email saying you would make a 100% refund. As of 3:20PM 11/24/10 you have received the package you sent out. Please refund my payment. I will post it here when I when I receive it."
"My previous bad expirience with this company has been recifiied by the customer service manager Micheal Stephens."
"Excellent and immediate customer service. Within hours of placing my order, a rep called to advise the item was on back order, but had a compatable but higher quality (ie more expensive) one in stock. Initially, I declined the upgrade, but the rep made it all work and the item was shipped within an hour. Exceptional marketing and service."
"I appreciated the representatives informing me of the status of the order and offering alternatives given the fact that my order was on back order. I received my order in good condition and I am already enjoying my product from Accessory circuit. Thank you!"
"Accessory Circuit had a great price ($110 below list price on a Canon flash with free shipping. Although they ran out of stock, they honored the great price and sent the flash once it was in stock. I had to wait a few weeks but it was definately worth the wait."
"In October I ordered a Nikon SB-600 Flash. What can I say? It all comes down to price, shipping and service. Accessory Circuit covers this all hands down. The prices are the best in the industry by a wide margin. The shipping and packaging are top notch. Not everyone who orders an accessory for a Nikon knows what they are really ordering.
A novice like myself checked out a few camera sites on the Internet and picked this flash.
A sales person called me personally to inform me that there may be a short delay in this back ordered flash. He patiently explained what I was getting and other options open to me. He explained every aspect and option of what I was buying and of other flashes available to me. I was treated like I was spending $10,000.00 and not $180.00. I would recommend Accessory Circuit to anyone wishing this type of treatment and prices.

"I purchased a genuine Canon 430EX II Flash at a cost well below Accessory Circuts competitors. I was contacted the same day to confirm my order. Shipping was free via a coupon I found on-line and on time. The product was exactly as described. I received excellent service and will certainly use them again in the future."
"I recently ordered the Canon 430EX II Flash for my daughter and she loves it! Not only is it an excellent flash, but through buying it from AccessoryCircut we saved $50 from what other companies were offering it for!"
"I ordered a camera lens from accessorycircut.com on April 15th, 2010. A couple of days later, they called to say the lens was out of stock and that I could have a different lens or wait 4-6 weeks until it was restocked, which I agreed to. Around the 1st of July, they called to tell me my order was in, and asked me to confirm an address change I had made a week earlier, and that the order would ship out that week (This is more than 10 weeks after I first ordered the lens). My order status was changed to "refunded" (which never occurred, I have the credit card statement to prove so), and when I asked them to change the entry to reflect my real order status, I never received a response on the matter.
I allowed the obligatory 6-8 weeks the company told me it would take for my order to arrive, but it never came. I contacted them again at the beginning of September to see what was going on, and though there has been some response from a supposed person named "Rebbeca Court," I have not yet received anything from them. Up until a week and a half ago (end of October 2010), each time I've asked for an update, I've been given some promise about how it will arrive soon...but each time I've asked for a tracking number, I've either been ignored or sent an email which is unable to be opened (supposedly containing tracking information for my order).
It's been 7 months since I've placed my order, I spent $700 on a lens which I haven't seen yet and don't expect to see if things continue as they have.
I will NEVER order anything from this company again, they are the closest thing to an all out scam that I've ever experienced!
Update: The response to this review by the company is a lie. They left no voicemail, nor did they call me or try and get in contact with me in ANY form. Reported them to the BBB, but my hopes of getting either my money or my lens are non-existent. I repeat, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM."
