"I ordered an Alibi Security camera NVR and a camera. That purchase qualified me for free 2 day shipping. I realized within a half of an hour that the camera might not be compatible with the NVR. I called in to discuss it with them and to make changes before anything could be shipped. The rep was so busy talking and jumping to conclusions that he was telling me wrong info. A camera run via coax does NOT work with a NVR that connects via ethernet cable. After I finally got him to listen, he still referred me to a non compatible camera. Once I got him to show a compatible camera and agreed to the extra $50 charge, he seemed flustered to get the order right. Sent me an invoice with shipping charges after I repeatedly told him that I was a member of VIP360 which entitled me to free 2 day shipping. After I repeated via email that I shouldn't have shipping charges, he finally made the corrections. Much later in the day when I reviewed my order status, it showed the NVR shipped and the 1st camera cancelled and the replacement, processing. I figured there might be a delay in reflecting the shipping. The next day, Saturday, it still said, processing. I called customer service and asked why it didn't ship with the NVR. No answer but assured me it would ship out that day. Then the following day Sunday, it still says processing. Monday I call them up, complain that the item didn't ship and I was promised 2 day so it should arrive Tuesday. They promised to ship it out Monday. Monday afternoon around 4 pm it still hadn't posted as shipped. I contacted them again and said, you guys messed up. Make it right, ship it overnight. Which They did.
I get the NVR and camera, set it up and immediately have issues. So I call for tech support. They get it up running. I call tech support right back after I realize the image is upside down and reversed. When I tried to change the settings to rectify it, The camera failed to respond. I get on with the tech and something that should have taken under 15 seconds, ends up being over a 1 hour phone call. During the tech trying to adjust the simple setting, getting no response, he changed some other things. When he returned to the 1st issue, about 4 of the 8 menu options disappeared including the ability to change the mirror or left to right. After him playing around for awhile, he had me go outside un-mount the camera, do a hard reset on the camera. This restored the menu items. He did the simple changes and I thought we were good. That night I look at the video and the image is so terrible I can't even identify things within the image. I call them back the next day and 4 days later, I am STILL going back and forth to get tech support to figure out what is going on with this system. There is a possibility that not only did I get a bad camera, but a bad NVR as well. Let me tell you, I'm pretty frustrated and not really looking to do business with Adorama again after this garbage experience."

"i applied for credit through Adorama and received a Fortiva Card. I made several purchases and also did a few returns . A few months ago I noticed I had a 455.00 pending credit on my card, but my available credit was correct. Prior to making a purchase, I spoke to Rocky and was assured that the pending credit would clear and I was safe making my intended purchase. A few days after I made my purchase I was notified by Fortiva that I was several hundred dollars over my limit. I immediately made a payment to correct this and called Rocky to see why my pending credit hadnt been resolved. I was assured that it would be looked into and resolved in no more than 5 days. I waited 10 days with no resolution and no correspondence from Rocky so I wrote again. Again, I was told they were looking into it. In the mean time Fortiva closed my account and reported me to the credit bureaus. The level of uncaring and incompetence displayed by Rocky is unforgivable. There is nothing in any customers account that can’t be resolved in 30 days. In the meantime im still being charged interest on the 455.00 credit that hasnt hit my account. I hope Adorama itself is not this careless in its customer service and that Rocky is the exception, not the rule. At this point Iwould be happy if anyone at this company would reach out and help me"
