I love the "kits" they include with many of the purchases I make. Things like the cleaning kits, lenses wraps etc really come in handy. I think this helps set Adorama apart from other sellers. Additionally, on one of the major photography forums/review sites on the internet, a contributing member is also affiliated with Adorama. If you purchase something new, you can be assured it will be new and not a repackaged item that was sent back to the store for whatever reason. I recently experienced receiving something that I purchased new from another well known company, however when I received it, it was obvious that it was a return. The only reason I didn't purchase it from Adorama was because I had been given a store credit. Otherwise, I would have just purchased from Adorama. I actually just had to return a defective lens to Adorama within a couple days of receiving it. It was clear that the item was brand new from the manufacturer. The lens had its customary shrink wrap around it from the manufacturer. This defect has nothing to do with Adorama. I asked for a refund on the product and we'll see how fast their turn around time is on the refund. I will add another review on their return service as soon as I receive the refund."

"Once I unpacked it and set it up, I thought I had a problem, so I called Adorama. It is a New York company who operates like all of its customers are in New York. Customer Service hours are set up for New York. Adorama sells 24 hours a day but has Customer Service hours like a storefront, only Daytime hours for the times New Yorkers are usually needing service. Fortunately, I did not have a problem, but I do not think I will buy anything of significance from Adorama again due to this shortsighted Customer Service problem."
