"I was taking advantage of the discounted price on a camera lens that I had been wanting for years, during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year. The item shipped quickly as promised. Item also arrived undamaged, though the packaging was somewhat crushed and mangled, which is almost surely due to shipper handling. Even the product box inside the outer packaging was slightly crushed, but the item itself was undamaged. Easy purchase process, rapid shipping and item was exactly what was described. "I've bought a fair amount of equipment from Adorama over the past couple of years. They sell all the major photo brands. The latest - a Nikon Z6. They shipped it out same day as they usually do. As a "first adopter" there were no deals, but I wasn't looking for one either, just fast shipping, which was delivered. They have great customer service too.

Last year I bought a lens from them which happened to be the last one in stock and was at the retail store, not warehouse. They were not able to ship it out same day but the CSR upgraded my already free shipping to next day air so I'd still get it in time. Obviously YMMV and mine too but I still appreciated the gesture.

Another purchase -- a photo scanner -- shipped out a day before the manufacturer offered a $100 instant rebate. I asked if they could do a price adjustment since I had not even received it yet and they honored the request immediately and credited my credit card $100.

The only negative thing I can say about Adorama is that even though they ship UPS they don't allow any changes to delivery except to deliver to a neighbor. Normally, if you have a UPS MyChoice account you can go online or via the app and change delivery to a UPS Store for free. Very convenient for expensive items, especially when signature is required and you can't sit around all day for the package. If you call Adorama they will redirect the package to a UPS Store BUT the UPS Store will charge you $5 for the privilege. I believe you can ask Adorama to have the package picked up at the UPS depot at no charge but that is not worth saving $5 to me. My time is worth more than $10 an hour. The UPS Store is a few blocks away. I wish Adorama would change this policy out of respect for customer's time."
