"I do not recommend ever using this company. Most of the furniture they sell is flat pack, ready to assemble (not a problem or the issue).
Word of advice, unpack your furniture and look over it with a fine tooth comb for any damages within 24 hours of receiving your delivery. I would also recommend that you video document your delivery, unboxing, setting up and inspection. Then and only then, might they actually honor their warranty for damages. I unfortunately did not do this within the window they specified and after spending nearly $4000 on furniture, they could exchange one damaged chair back because I didn't report the damage within 24-48 hours. Don't expect great customer service or any help with claims issues from this company. Buy local and pay more money, you will benefit more in the long run. I purchased my furniture on 11/5/2022 and didn't receive delivery until 01/07/2023 right after christmas, so was unable to put together right away. I guess customer service is a myth with this company."

"We ordered a nightstand costing well over $700. We left it wrapped in box for months after receipt, believing we were keeping it safe until our delayed renovation was finished. When we unboxed it yesterday, we found one leg broken and bottom trim cracked. AFA had no interest at all in our claim since we didn’t open it and find damage within 48 hours of receipt. Period, nothing they were willing to do, we are repeat customers with AFA but that also had no bearing. The nightstand was made by Kincaid, a more expensive furniture company which should provide a quality product. We are contacting that company, as well. "

I had doubts about placing this order because I had previously placed an order in another online store and my furniture arrived in very poor condition. The Bar that came to me from Afa was in perfect condition. It is spacious and comfortable and has a nice mid-century modern look. "Experiences - plural and I will warn you not to have a single one! Ordered our dining table and paid for assembly. Assembly happened upon delivery and when the gentleman was done he gave me a bag full of hardware that was leftover because "they sent extra." Believable enough - UNTIL we were moving a couple of weeks later and the movers went to pack up our new table and the base was broken, completely splintered because it was assembled incorrectly. The same weekend our night stands were delivered, drawers broken and unusable. Both things should be a simple fix right?? NOPE. AFAStores customer service after the sale is all about their right to "repair first". Who cares that we are over six weeks out from filing the damage claims and STILL nothing has been done. Exception being they sent me parts to repair my brand new, unusable nightstands that I've never been able to use. BUYER BEWARE!! Do yourself a favor and shop local first."
