"AirSplat.com is a very good and reliable site. I noticed that out of all the airsofting websites that I've used, AirSplat has the most accurate specs on the guns than any other. They also do video reviews on a lot of their guns, which I found VERY helpful. They also have very good customer service. When I had an issue with an order, they quickly put forth effort to fix it. It turned out that their shipment was stuck in customs. In the end, my issue was quickly resolved and they even sent me a coupon for their website for future purchases, along with a few thousand bbs.

Their airsoft guns are also good. They are strong and reliable. One of the best experiences I had with AirSplat was Black Friday. I went onto their website on Black Friday last year to see what kind of sales they had. They had some amazing ones! I got over 50,000 high quality .20g airsoft bbs for less than $40 with shipping and a speed loader! You can't beat that anywhere! So, don't forget to check out their website on Black Friday for some awesome sales.

After all of my transactions that have taken place on AirSplat.com, I can safely say that it is a good, reliable website for purchasing and researching airsoft guns. I highly recommend it.

"After I ordered several of the wrong items I received a fast response on the replacement. They have very friendly and helpful staff. Airsplat is a very good company-hard to beat your prices and selection.

The site has a tremendous amount of general information on airsoft and equipment. But 1one of the reasons I ordered the wrong items is that the information is not very complete or inconsistent in the "product details" tab for each item. I know there are utube postings but in the description part for each gun posting mores specifics about the performance of the guns would be helpful. Providing airsplat tested chrono scores for example for different weight BBs. Many air soft arenas like our Airsoft Battleground in Rocklin Ca have a 400 FPS limit. Players want to be able to play up to that limit and know what the guns actual does, vs the box specs. It also would be helpful if they provided more detail about what fit what, example which magazines or holsters fit which guns. Call first before placing an order so that you get exactly what you need. They are a great company with great support and prices.

"Great prices, fast same day shipping, and free shipping on any orders over $50 you can 't go wrong with Airsplat.com. "I ordered a gun for my son's birthday. Upon receiving it we found no owner's manual, no warranty...no information! We charged the battery for 12 hours...finally figured out where the battery goes (since there's NO MANUAL) and nothing worked. We kept charging...didn't work. I contacted Airsplat via email as instructed and didn't hear back for 2 days. Emails back and forth asking me to describe the problem over and over again. They will not speak with you over the phone and you can't return anything without an RMA # which they will not give to me. I've had it with them and am going to contact the Better Business Bureau and my credit card company. I will never order from them again and will tell my friends not to, either."

"website is working hard to try to please thier cusyomers. the customer serviace takes a while but that is expected. they are very good about getting emails back to you can tell them your problem. they try to get you your product and it usualy happens over any ammount of time. "

"Update 3/16/11 - Received a concerned customer service call from Airsplat. They have listened to our trouble and are willing to repair item at their cost with our expense to return mail. Wish we hadn't had trouble with the gun. Also wish we had paid attention to warranty. Considering that part was our responsibility, we have to accept some of the cost I suppose. An unfortunate consequence yes, but we are grateful that genuine concern for the customer as well as the company reputation is being shown.



Renews my commitment to triple check any place we do business with. Spent over $250 on two guns for our sons for Christmas. Had lots going on, couldn't get time off to go out with the guns. Just never dreamed there'd be anything to worry about with this caliber gun. Several weeks later, son takes gun out to play and after what started as seemingly normal function, his most expensive gun simply stopped firing. Nothing jammed, replaced fuses, switched batteries, called the company,(NO, you CAN'T call them, you must write; and then wait until they find time to respond!) and were told no interest in helping us out as we had surpassed their "only one in the business with 30 day warranty". They could not have expressed their disinterest in helping us any better. We could however pay to have it serviced if we mailed it to them postage paid. No call, no expressed concern, no attempts to walk us through any potential issue with their own product - oh yeah, did advise we check the fuse. Emails slow, unprofessional and unresponsive. I think they are so busy making money hand over fist due to the craze that they don't mind shafting a guy now and then. Airsplat stinks. We tell all our friends and we will NEVER purchase from these guys again. Be warned!

"Airsplat.com was very reputable and helpful. My purchase was made via a telephone call that actually went right!!! I had already attempted to call a couple of other airsoft re-sellers. One would not take an order over the phone. One did not even have the product I was looking for and one didn’t have a clue as to what I was even talking about. I knew what I wanted and was driving when I made the call. The customer service rep at Airsplat.com was able to talk me through to finding the correct product I was looking for and immediately emailed the correct order information to my email account all while connect in the call. Upon completion of the phone call, I immediately placed the online order via my iPhone. The shipment arrived 4 days later and was correctly packaged and absolutely what I needed. Kudo's to Airsplat.com .

Airsplat.com is fast, affordable and their site is easily navigated. Each product has detailed information and occasionally a video. In addition to the great website, their Customer Service Representatives are just as knowledgeable and eager to help you get the right product.

I recommend this company every chance I get. Especially with the FREE SHIPPING!! Doesn't get any better!!!

"Good selection, good prices, but horrible customer service. If you have no issues with your product, you're fine, but any return issues - be ready for a lengthy process of phone calls and emails in order to get resolution on what should be simple defective return/exchanges. We received a defective unit out of the box (on Christmas Day) and it has taken two calls, SIX emails and six weeks for the replacement to be shipped out.

Way too many returns hoops in their system to warrant risking the loss of time in the future for us. They wouldn't even cover shipping of the defective unit coming back!


Update:3/30/11

AirSplat's response is even more frustrating than the initial experience. The below statement is unbelievable.

1)The warranty period was extended as part of their normal holiday policy and my first phone contact was made three days after Christmas. Not as an accommodation to me.

2) We noticed the defect within 5 minutes of use and phoned them as soon as we returned to town. Part of the initial frustration was that they would take information and not act upon the information, indicating later each time that there was yet more information needed to complete the process.

3) We were told to provide all information with the return unit, including replacement model to be shipped out, which we did. The reason it took two weeks to hear from us is because we were told the shipment of the replacement would be automatic and our son was wanting to know where his gun was. It was then that we learned they didn't have the charge info they needed - even though I was told all was ready to process three weeks earlier. We had no reason to check the email profile we use for purchase receipts, as we understood the process was in motion. The shipping department also had my cell phone number as well if there was information that was lost on their end and wanted to expedite the transaction.

4) Above and beyond? They had me pay for shipping back for a clearly defective unit, then for the replacement unit as well.

AirSplat, you tried to cover yourself very well below, but since the initial review, I've had the sense that has been the primary motivation on your end - not in improving your system, which I'm qualified to offer suggestions on. I warned you during the process that I was unhappy and getting more so, but you merely stuck to "that's our system" and instead of restoring faith when you had the chance, you went into damage control when it was too late.

...and that's all the time I've got to invest on this one. Consider yourself lucky I'm not billing for time. We're moving on. Again, nice spin.
