"Airsplat is a great online store but they do have some minor problems. Their selection is horrible for batteries, chargers, mags, etc. But if you find the things you want from them I would reccomend this site greatly to any new airsofters seeking a place to buy. Their prices are fairly priced and their coupons and sales provide some great savings. Personally I think evike is better for expierienced airsofters. But it is still a great start just move onto another online store after a while of shopping on this site and getting to know more about airsoft."

"WHAT A SCAM...We ordered a gun after waiting 24 hours of charging it didn't work. Called the company and because it was not within 3 days of delivery date we could not get a refund. Then deside to exchange and was denied the exchange because you have to have the original box but the return policy stated to NOT send it back in the original box. Had talked to the company several times and was never told to have the original box. Shipped it back in a UPS box of $10.00 then once it was received by AIRSPLAT, 6 days later of nothing I get an email stating my exchange was denied because of "NO ORIGINAL BOX". I argued the point, was told they may be able to exchange if I pay $10.00 for the missing box. I said OK I will pay, then my next denial is becuase the condition of the gun is bad. REALLY>>>>>>it had never been played with because he DIDNT WORK. SCAM and I had to disbute through my Bank. Was told by AIRSPLAT TO DO WHAT I NEED TO DO! SCAM SCAM SCAM Google and you will find so many other unhappy buyers! BUYER BEWARE!"

"Airsplat's customer service uses deflection and stall tactics to attempt to wear down customers who have issues with their products.
I purchased on 12/28/10, received the gun on 1/5/2011 and quickly found a manufacturing defect with the clip which renders the auto loading capability completely inactive. After numerous unspecific and unhelpful return emails, I found another avenue to get the part that I needed.
I then left a review on this site. ONLY then (almost a month after I gave up on Airsoft and resolved the issue myself by finding a replacement part, at my cost) I received a voicemail from someone at Airsoft wanting to assist me in resolving my problem.

Customer service is supposed to be proactive, not reactive.

Update 1/21: Received a very nice e-mail from Airsplat and also received the UPS shipping label. Way to go, Airsplat! Raised rating to reflect our pleasure with this step. Will ship the defective gun back 1/22. Want to update your rating even further, so please look out for our shipment!
Update: After several conversations with the supervisors at Airsplat, we were told if we updated our review on this site, we would be sent a return label to return the defective gun. On 1/17 we got an e-mail confirming that we were going to receive a shipping label within 24 hours. We updated the review to reflect our agreement, but on 1/20 we were notified that what we agreed to in writing wasn't what Airsplat wanted. They wanted us to raise their star rating, even though so far they've done nothing they said they would. To summarize; we're out the money, we've got an expensive doorstop, and Airsplat appears to be engaging in blackmail.
My son saved up his money all summer to buy a rifle. By October he had enough money so he placed an order. The rifle arrived, we charged it, and after 3 bb's fired, it broke. Spent more than an hour on hold (long distance) before we got a customer service person, who immediately offered us to send it back for another model (hmmm, that should have been a warning). No, the son really, really, really wanted that model, so we went through the hassle of shipping it back for repair, and four weeks later when we got the replacement...it was in pieces in the box. Put it back together again and the ammo clip wouldn't fit. Another hour-plus on the phone, lots of e-mails, no satisfaction. Finally got to a human being who allowed us to send it back for another model...which they sat on for another four weeks. The October gun order finally arrived in working condition the week after Christmas. We charged the battery, took it out to shoot, and a half-hour later the fuse blew. Bought new fuse, but gun still doesn't work. Expensive lesson learned--stay away from Airsplat products.
Update: Airsplat contacted us on Friday, advised we send the gun to the original manufacturer, then suggested we send the gun back to them. They said they'd call us on Monday with further instructions. On Monday they called to say they'd be sending us a shipping label; it's Tuesday evening and we're waiting for it to arrive."
