"Excellent service. Ordered the Airsoft gun, received it the next day. When a couple weeks later, my son lost a piece of the stock that holds the battery in place, I asked if they could order a replacement.

They responded promptly to my email requests and offered to replace the lost piece of the stock at no charge, even though it was clearly our fault.

This type of service from an online merchant is rare.

Highly recommended.

"I have placed a few orders with Airsplat.com and have received order confirmation, ship time and delivery in an extremely prompt time. My last order had a small manufacturers defect. I emailed tech support, and a replacement unit was sent almost immediately. No mess, No hassle. They are the most customer oriented company I have dealt with in a very long time.
I have placed orders with some of Airsplat's competition just to save a couple of bucks and then found it wasn't at all worth it. It took 18 days for a company called Hob_____n to ship an order, which I had canceled a week earlier because they didn't provide status as to the delay. I've done a lot of comparison shopping, and Airsplat seems to come out on top 90% of the time. I think I'll just delete those other guys from my browser's favorites and use Airsplat exclusively from now on. THANKS AIRSPLAT!! and THANKS to the guys, (gals) in support also!.

"I had to order both from web site (for some BBs) and tech support (to replace an unjamming tool that my son's friend had lost). I had wanted to combine the two orders into one shipment. Unforunately this did not happen, but when I subsequently contacted customer service, they sent out the second order (for the tool I lost) that same day free of charge.

So I would say that the customer service from the technical support dept. is both polite and timely.

"I don't normally take the time to write comments about this sort of thing, but this outfit is bad enough so it seems worth the time.
PLEASE, IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU, DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM AIRSPLAT.

March 26, 2006: Placed order for Soft Air Thompson Military M1 Rifle. $79.95 + $12.28 shipping = $92.23, which website said was in stock. My son was paying for it with his own money.

Suddenly, next day the order status said it was out of stock. Surprise! They kept stringing me along for a while...

May 18, 2006: Finally, got fed up and called them . They said they had no idea when it would ship, but they had the Thompson Tommygun in stock but not the M1. I told them I did NOT want the Tommygun. I made the mistake of telling them I was thinking of cancelling the order, but my son wanted to wait 1 more week, so I didn't.

May 22, 2006: Called them at 4:00pm EST and told them I wanted to cancel the order. Woman said their "system is down" and to call back in an hour. Called back at 5:00, and busy, busy. Tried lots of times and couldn't get thru. Called little after 9:00 pm EST and they were closed, which was funny, since earlier in the day, they said they'd expanded their hours to 9:00 CA time.

May 23, 2006: Got an email saying my order had shipped, but the order did not state what they shipped. I called them and got a guy who seemed nice, but I think he slipped up when he told me my Tommygun was on the way. But I ordered the M1, not the Tommygun! He said the order mentioned only the Tommygun, not an M1. They must have changed it, but they never asked me, and wiped out the original information! The guy advised me to refuse the UPS shipment and just return it. He also told me to send an email to their support saying they shipped wrong thing, and I would refuse the delivery. And, that I expect a full refund, including shipping.

I sent the email the same day. I got 2 automated responses saying they received it, and another one saying it would be referred to their Tech Support dept.

May 26, 2006: I Refused the UPS package.

May 28, 2006: Got an email response that made me even angrier. I wish I had room here to show the whole email. They said they had sent me an email telling me they were substituting the Tommygun for the M1 and they said since I didn't answer the email, they just went ahead and sent the Tommygun instead. Here's a quote I copied and pasted from the email:

"In the email, we asked for you to write back if you DID NOT wish for the Thompson Tommy Gun. Since we did not get a response from you, we fulfilled your order with the Thompson Tommy."

Of course, I never received any such email. I did receive a total of 10 emails from them though (including the orig order confirmation, etc.) so it's obvious they were lying and never sent such an email. Or, maybe it was the world's biggest fluke that the only email that didn't get through was the one that counted. There were other stupid statements in the email I won't bother to list here.

I sent an email reply to them saying this was wrong in many ways. Not only is email not a reliable communication mechanism, but why would they substitute something else without a reply from me? It was obviously a stupid lie, and I told them so. I also demanded that they refund my money, including the shipping. I got 3 more emails back from them confirming that they received my email and that they would respond. Of course, I never got a real response to my scathing email to them.

June 8, 2006: Called them and confirmed they receive the gun back. Said they would send me a confirming email.

Turns out they never sent the email, but I did receive credit on my card. But, even that was screwed up. At first, I received credit for $79.95, but I received it twice. This was the amount without shipping, but since they screwed up and did it twice, I thought maybe I got lucky and they screwed up in my favor. Then, they took back the second credit. I kept checking my credit card account for several months after that to make sure they didn't charge me again.

So, I ended up paying the shipping. But, I figured it was close enough, and I was lucky to get back most of the money and only lose $12.28 overall. Of course, that doesn't account for the lost time, the aggravation, etc.

I was lucky that the guy screwed up and told me they shipped the Tommygun, because otherwise I would've opened it without knowing, and would probably have had a much harder time returning it.

THESE AIRSPLAT PEOPLE ARE CROOKS. IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU, DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!

"i ordered 3 mags a 3 pt sling 2 bags of bbs and a bunch of other stuff from airsplat. i went directly to the store, they have great customer service and a friendly and knowledgible staff. i ordered and waited about 5 minutes for all my stuff it was bam fast. ive also ordered a few things online as well. they have fast shipping and good updates on shipping

"As a routing airsoft user, I purchased a high quality "HFC M92 Vertec FULL AUTO METAL Gas BB". I received the gun in unworking condition - it would not function in auto mode. The gun came in a case, which I did not order. The gun was not shrink-wrapped, and had a non-original magazine. After communication with the company, they did take the gun back (and case) at my shipping expense and replace it (without the case). The replacement was new, shrink-wrapped and packaged in an orignal box with original equipment. It works fine, but after what they originally sent me, I will never do business with them again. Any savings I had was more than lost on the additional shipping charges. "

"I ordered a CA33 from them on 15-May. They said it would come in 3 weeks. It's been 5 weeks and I still don't have it. I called them after the 4th week and asked what was up, they said US customs was holding their containers. I called halfway through the 5th week and they made not mention of customs. He said they didn't even have any idea when they would receive it, let-alone send it to me. His best guess was anywhere from two weeks, to two months before they shipped it to me. AND they've already charged my credit card. ALL $350! The customer service rep was clueless. I'm never buying from them again. EVER.

Their prices are incredible though. I bought a charger, 2 batteries, and the AEG for $350. Most places sell the gun alone for $320-325. But I'd pay $50 or $60 more rather than waiting for it to come for 4 weeks then finding out I need to wait six more!

good luck. and trust me it's worth a few bucks more just to avoid the B.S. I'm stuck in.

"There are no words in the English language to describe how enfuriating attempting to deal with this company has been. Let me start by saying they couldn't care less about their customers. They state on their policy that all orders are guaranteed to ship within 24 hours. This is a lie and they will not compansate you for breaking their own policy. It's been a week since I placed my order and it still hasn't shipped. Everyday this past week I've been told by the same person, Matt, that my order will ship that day. The week is over and my order hasn't been shipped. They've given me two different tracking numbers, neither of which register with UPS. I spoke with Matt again just now and he says the order will ship today. Not even an apology. Don't bother asking for a manager at Airsplat because they don't exist. Everytime I've asked, they're either out of the office or in a meeting. They don't have voicemail or extension numbers either. It's ironic how Airsplat tries to maintain a status of a web-based company, yet doesn't answer emails. I've sent 4 emails in the past week and I've been lucky to get an automated response from 2 of them. They offer no consolation for their mistakes. If they mess up (and they will) it's at your expense. If you look for answers you will not get them. They will talk you in circles and try to discourage you from calling back. These people are trained to handle customers like this I guarantee it. I was even told by this guy Matt that they try to discourage people from calling at all. They want you to email them. Good luck getting a response.

DO NOT BUY FROM AIRSPLAT!

There are plenty of other online retailers that sell this stuff. Do not be fooled by Airsplat's professional looking website. They may seem to have a large inventory, but I guarantee you half the stuff is out of stock and you won't know it until a week after you place your order. I ordered the .50 Desert Eagle on Friday. The site said it was in stock, but I got an email the following Wednesday saying it was on backorder. Ironic, being that according to their policy I should have received it on Tuesday. I discovered this when I called Monday to confirm my order (since I got no email response). I was told it would ship that day. It didn't. I called on Tuesday and that's when Matt told me it was out of stock. I modified my order and was told it would go out the next day. It didn't. Called on Wednesday to confirm and was told it would ship. It didn't. Called Thursday and was told it would ship that day. It didn't. Everyday since that Wednesday I've asked to speak with a manager or someone that could actually help me. Everyday, all the "managers" have been in meetings.

DO NOT BUY FROM AIRSPLAT! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

"I concur with mjkarger's backorder statement, as well as all others that report poor email response with Airsplat. I just received one this morning (March 23) telling me my order was being processed! THREE business days after ordering! After reading the other reviews on this site I went back to Airsplat's and looked more closely at the contact info and reasoned that they must not be all that great if they have to worry about so many RMA#s that they have to post where to send them to! My advice is to either gamble your money with Airsplat or try a more reputable site. One that can give you an accurate ETA for your order (I'm four hours north of where Airsplat is located; I'd expect a three-day delievery time, tops, whenever they actually have the item in stock)
--April 4, 06 I just recieved the item, and am pleased with it thus far. I have yet to test it out fully, so for now my only complaint remains the slow response time and customer service.

"I placed a huge order on January 31st. One week later my order hadn't shipped out, so I emailed them asking what's going on. It took 2 days for a response in which she was very bland and only told me that she was able to retrieve my order.

Four days later, on a Wednesday, I called them. I talked to a guy that claimed that they didn't have all of the items in stock at the time, so they shipped out what they could last Wednesday, a week before I called. But he wasn't able to give me a tracking number, nor was I ever charged for it yet, so when I asked him about being charged, he said they'd take care of it and expect the order in 2-3 more days and basicly hung up on me.

Considering that nothing in the order was really needed all that much, I didn't worry about it untill last night, Febuary 22, which told me that my credit card's phone number did not match that of the bank and they cancled my order without warning.

I called them up again and the guy I talked to this time claimed he couldn't find record of my order number at all... And the website said the order number didn't exist either.

"Not bad, i got my p-90 today and tested it out iwth my friends, and it works well, however after seeing all these negative reviews, im not gonna take my chances with this site anymore. If u already did, i would suggest going to sites like www.affordableairsoft.com or www.speedytoys.com Another problem with the site is that it inaccurately advertises its products. For example, it said that one gun it had was 410 fps, and the gun was only $60. How is that possible? I went to another site and asked a couple of people on the forum, and they told me that the gun was only 260 fps."

"I recently purchased a bundle of products from airsplat. But after only one day i recieved an email telling me that one of my products was back ordered. So I emailed them and emailed them trying to replace the back ordered product with another product. But nobody responded. Finally I called the company. After an hour of calling an hanging up, do to no system to put you on hold,I reached someone that replaced the back ordered product. I was told the order would be in the mail the next day, wedsnday an to my house by friday, 2nd day air. Now it's wedsnday and my account is still saying it hasn't shipped. So I called them again. I told the employee that I wanted to know when my order would be going out today. He said that today doesn't count as a shipping day and that it would go out thursday and arrive on monday. Two days after my friends and i are planning on having a big airsoft tournament. I told him that I was told it would arrive on friday and he said that that wasn't true. So i told him since it will be two weeks late I wanted free shipping. He said that I needed to email the sales department or get a refund. Every day that passes by the father the shipping date seems to move back. who knows if I'll ever get my purchases. DO NOt buy from airsplat.com they have horrible customer service."

"This first experience with AirSplat.com has been BAD.

Five (5) airsoft guns were ordered. Four (4) of them failed the first day!!
The internal mechanism broke.

Two (2) additional batteries were ordered, BUT they were NOT compatible with the guns.

AirSplat gave a PARTIAL refund, and assessed a RESTOCKING fee on the guns and batteries.

Defective product was sold!
Incompatible product was sold.

AirSplat does NOT respond to e-mails!
How is that for TOP Customer service!!?
