"If you buy an airosoft gun and it works then fine, but if there is a problem and ours was defective right out of the box you will never get your money back unless you can reverse charges on credit card and then they try everything to keep your money. I would recommend finding a company that has good customer service and policies. They give you three days to return with a whopping 20% restocking fee, apparently they are just very greedy for your money and after you pay it they keep it no matter what, even if the gun is defective. They do have telephone answering machines and form emails to keep you delayed. Please read the many bad reviews found all over the web before buying from them. There has to be a more reputable company online to buy from. "

"Ok I made my first order on May 1st I changed my mind and tried to cancel it but I was to late and it had shipped even tho i sent an email that same day to try and cancel it in less then 5 hours well it shipped and to top it off when I recevied it the sling mount which was metal was broke off. So within five minutes after getting the gun I tried to contact them through email but
I could not get a response. Then for days I heard nothing finally when I did get the email saying it was ok to ship it back they said they would give me store credit BUT the store credit would not show on my shopping cart so I had to email them my new order.
I clearly stated what I wanted VFC Hk416 and gave them the item number and that I would pay the difference. Again they did not contact me for another 4 days telling me wether or not my new order was being processed finally when I did get the email I thought ok atleast its being processed. When it finally shipped it was May 23rd I had placed the order on May 6 thats how long it took just to ship it. Then to top if off they sent me the WRONG GUN they sent a $100.00 JG bar-10 but charged me for VFC Hk416 a $419.00 gun how the hell do you screw that up they are nowhere near the same one is a eletric AEG the other is a spring rifle now I'm out over 400.00 and I cant get a hold of anyone the phone is always busy or i get a message saying they are closed when they should still be open. they dont respond to emails and when they do they say their unable to answer my question and will forward it to someone who can. I have been trying to get this order fixed for a month now I just want to ship them there gun back its still in the box sealed and get my refund...
I have already File a complaint to the better business bureau

Update on June 13th I made a post on http://www.airsoftretreat.com and was able to get in touch with someone who works at airsplat, from there things have gone smoothly they are working to resolve the mistake.
Update June 19th I got a return shipping label and sent them the wrong gun they had sent me back and they got it the 25th so now I should get my refund anyday now.
It seems like they are trying there best to fix past mistakes I highly suggest going to http://www.airsoftretreat.com forums and sending airsplat a private message before making a thread they are sure to help you

"Good company. Good prices. Plus they were the only store to have the model of AEG I wanted in stock.
This was my second order from Airsplat. First one was fine except for UPS delivering it to the wrong house (not Airsplat's fault). All items in this order were in stock and shipped within a couple days. UPS got the house right this time. Only problem was that there wasn't enough packing material/padding in the carton, so a bag of 5000 BB's burst open during shipment, losing ~750 of them. I emailed Airsplat and asked if they would consider sending ~750 BB's to replace the lost ones. Within a couple days they said they had shipped the replacements. Thinking they had sent out a pack of 750 or 1000 I checked their website for the tracking info -- they had shipped out a whole new bag of 5000 BB's at no charge! So a big thumbs up for Airsplat customer service."
"This is a very great site. I ordred on Jan 31 and recived on the 8th of febuary, I live on the east coast and they are in califorina, so its not bad for ground shipping. The box was not packed professionally, but nothing was damaged, I bought a bag of 5000 bbs and recived a contanier of 5000 bbs, which made me happy. The gun i ordred a well r6 m4a1 works great. I dont know how customer service is, Ive heard a lot of bad stuff about the site after i ordred from them and i hoped i would not have one, After what i went through i would recomend them to a friend and buy from again.

"I know very little about airsoft but Airsplat.com has a comprehensive inventory of the many airsoft manufactures and types airguns. I bought an MP40 Schmeisser from them because theirs was about the lowest price I found after compiling a list of airsoft dealers from goggle. I was not disappointed in quality, price, or the cost of shipping (except for a miniscle charge of $2.50 for handling it is free if your order totals over $150.00)
That MP40 got me hooked on airsoft. I've been an avid shooter for over 45 years and this "new" form of plinking with replica type weapons is 'the cats meow'!
I had to have another airsoft. Just like real weapons... it's a collecting fever. ;.)
My wife even likes it since the cost of real weapons is almost prohibitive unless you know someone with a FFL and can buy wholesale for you.
My next purchase from Airsplat is an M14 by Cyma (and it's on the way as of this writing.)
I didn't know which manufacturer to buy until I read a review on Airspats site by someone who knew a whole lot more about airsoft than I did. That was nice service that Airspat.com provided that other sites seemed to lack.
My MP40 is made by TSD and it is a very nice quality airgun. I still like all metal guns in this polymer age and these airsoft guns are a nice blend of metal and polymer and they are heavy on the metal. Externally the MP40 is almost all metal.
The M14 (as I read) will have a polymer (plastic) stock which is OK with me because the only real M14's I ever handled had synthetic stocks also. A real M14 weighs in at around 9 pounds and so does the airsoft!
I plan on making Airsplat.com my "go to" site for most of my future airsoft purchases. When I've had questions they are pretty quick to respond to me emails.
They seem to get their orders out the door and onto the delivery trucks pretty fast too.

"I originally ordered several raffle tickets for their CA M24 Raffle, but have since regretted my decision. To begin with, immediately after purchasing I was dismayed to be faced with several advertisements for companies not even related to Airsoft. There were "free magazines" for taking a survery, free money for entering another raffle, etc, etc. All seemed this didn’t bother me too much, until I received an email saying they were going to "ship" my order to me. Confused, I emailed them, only to find that they weren't having customer support until the middle of January. Even when the support department was back, they refused to answer my email saying only that:
"I will more than happy to assist you, however unfortunately I am unauthorized & unqualified to address your concerns regarding product info, returns, exchanges etc.. Therefore I will gladly forward your request, questions and concerns to our Support Department, where they will be able to better and further assist you. It may take anywhere from 24-48 hours for a reply".
72 hours later, I had not received a response. So then comes the day of the raffle and I checked their website for updates. As I had expected though, there was no change. No winners were announced and from all that I could see, there had been no raffle. To verify, I tried emailing them again. Curiously, their email servers were down for 2 days and Gmail could not send my response. I had to resend the email on the third day, and fortunately they were finally online. Weeks later, I finally got a 3 sentence response.
“The raffle is still valid, what kind of questions do you have?
Please feel free to contact us with any additional questions or concerns. Thank you and have a wonderful day. “
Their website contains false information, and the sales representatives take weeks to send back canned responses. I would not be surprised if other products on their website aren’t even carried anymore.

"I purchased the rifle in November 2007 it has a serious problem firing on it's own without the trigger being pulled. I sent it back according to there instructions for repair. It was sent back Dec 2007 having the same problem poorly packaged and shipped.I am still fighting to get it replaced Jan 2008. I have paid to have this shipped three times and am on the eastcoast; they are on the westcoast. There customer support is terrible and I do not recommend any purchases from this company. Due to the lack response there is no other way but e-mail to talk to support and they do not get back to you. Currently they have the rifle my money and I have nothing but a few shipping bills. "
"Offers decent prices on the products. I have had multiple issues with them when I bought something, then when I received it, it was a totally different item from what I purchased. They claimed that the manufacture changed thier product. (well, wouldn't you think airsplat would change tier website then??) But really it ended up being a totally different manufacture.
Costumer service is very slow, rude, and not so intelligent. It takes over a week to get a rma for the wrong products that they sent me. About 2 weeks later I finally got everything straightened out with the money back- I ended up loosing money due to them sending me the wrong item and then me shipping it back.
Overall, I have never bought anything from them again, and probably never will. I wouldn't recommend them."
"I wish I had looked at this site and read the negative reviews before purchasing a UTG AK-47 Warhawk Electric airsoft gun through this company for my son. He used it once after I bought it and it worked fine. Went to use it a second time and the lever to switch to semi-automatic loosened considerably. He tightened it and used it a third time and now it only works in semi-automatic. Upon explaining to the company that it was only used 3X and seems to have a defect, they would not even look at it unless I paid a $50 fee, and that was not even to cover repairs, and said over 30 days, nothing they will do. We are in NJ and weather is not the best for constant use this time of year, not to mention kids are in school they have little free time. So, since he wasn't able to use a few times in the four weeks after he got it, he looses out and I'm out $117.78 that it cost me. Any store that I could have walked into and made this purchase would have, at a minimum, checked it out free of charge for manufacturer defects, most would have exchanged for a new one and sent back to the company. I will never purchase this type of item online again."

"I placed my order on a Sunday afternoon and it shipped on Monday.
The spare magazine that I purchased with this order didn't work so I contacted Airsplat.com's customer support group and after answering a few brief questions they sent out a replacement magazine free of charge. The new magazine works great and they told me that I didn't have to bother to send back the first one that didn't work.
This is really excellent service.
