"AJRichard provided me a great shopping experience. I was able to find a camera for almost $100 less than anywhere else. They were able to provide me with great discounts on extended life batteries and a great, error-free, memory card. I had many questions and the customer service representatives were all very helpful. The one thing that I have to complain about is that almost an entire week passed before the order shipped. I would love to see a much faster processing time."

"Ordering was very easy, sales people were suggestive in helping me with further enhancements to the camera I purchased. There was a lens hood missing from the box but AjR took care of it immediately. I would not hesitate at all to re-order from them again."

"AJ Richard is slime. I ordered a Panasonic G3-Brown for $649, which they have in stock (according to their website anyway). AJ Richard's state it will take one to two days to "process" the order, fine. I receive a call (unknown number) from AJ Richard to "confirm" the order, fine. The guy doesn't even confirm my address before trying to push crap:extended warranty, extended battery a couple other things. I politely decline this crap or I would have ordered something else in the first place.

Finally we get to the end of the relentless upselling and the schister on the phone states the total is $690. I said, hey the order online stated $649 with free shipping, WTF?!? Oh sir, the additional $40 is for handling and insurance. These guys suck ass. Needless to say I canceled. Gotta love the slimy NYC sales ethos still alive (I lived on Long Island during the "Crazy Eddie" '80's).

"I recently upgraded from a Canon T2i to the Canon 7D. What a great camera. Lots of bells and whisles. Ive had my problems purchasing things over the internet from other camera companies but my experience with AjRichards has been a pleasure. The price was right, the order arrived when they said it would, and the package was packed extra secure to avoid damage in shipping. I would recommend AjRichardsto my friends and I plan to do business with them again."

"I have used AJ Richard before for the purchase of a camera and have been completely satisfied. Now I've ordered another camera and would like to say that the ordering and customer service is outstanding. The prices are unbelievable compared to well known internet companies. I do have to say that Gene is an outstanding individual with great customer service ethics. I would highly recommend this company to my friends."

"This is an outfit to avoid! For the second time in a couple of years, I have had a very bad experience with this outfit. In both cases, tried to buy a camera -- this time only because I forgot the name of the seller from the first time.

This time: 1. Ordered a Nikon camera; 2. No word for 10 days or so; 3. Sent e-mail requesting information as to whether they planned to supply the camera; 4. E-mail reply said that I must telephone to "verify" order; 5. Before I did this, got a telephone call from an AJR rep to "confirm" order and "verify" address, etc.; 6. Rep would not specify a shipping date, saying the there were "supply problems"; 7. Rep then said that the battery that came with the camera was an inferior one, tried to sell an "upgrade", etc.; 8. When I delined, he seemed extremely happy to cancel the order (confirmed by an immediate e-mail).

After the first experience, I am sorry to say that I let the AJR rep talk me into withdrawing the review.

"Order on 7/12/11 got email from them to call back on 7/15/11. Everything seem ok till 7/18/11. The order still in process to 7/20/11. Call them again see what happen. They said "back order"? What? The product was in stock when I order on 7/12, then confirm again on 7/15 and 7/18. Price is great. Order and Customer service horrible. I rather spend $30 bucks more to shop from someone else. Would never recomend anyone to shop at this place. If you want peace of mind shop somewhere else, waste of time. I tell all my online friends to stay away...will post this on my facebook."

"I called because AJRichard is a trusted seller and it had the best price of almost anyone online and was the only trusted seller at that price. I spoke with Gene who was informative, cordial and extremely helpful and also struck me as sincere and honest (that is,not just trying to sell me things)> He gave me good deals on accessories and when I asked if there was a package, sure enough there was one which gave me everything I wanted plus more for just about the same amount. I'm very pleased and feel confident that I'm getting what I need for this camera and that I am saving money as well."

"I called to order a point & shoot camera and the salesman told me that it was in stock but to hang up and order it through their website. The next day, instead of a confirmation email, I receive a note that I need to confirm billing information and another email that my order is being reviewed. I attempted to call at 5:07pm and they and already left for the day. I left a message and replied to the email that everything that I entered is the correct billing address and charge information. It's now been 2 weeks and still no camera. When I call to inquire why I haven't received the camera yet, I am told they don't have it but hope it will be in shortly. WHAT?!?!? I explained that when I ordered, it was confirmed to be in stock. Why don't I have it? (I should also note that it shows as being in stock every day on their website.) I am leaving next week and thought that almost 3 weeks is plenty of time to receive an in stock item. He just maintains that they don't have it so I just have to wait. This company is behaving dishonestly and shady so just watch out! Update: More time has passed and still no camera or contact from the company. When I called again, they just cancelled the order and left me hanging.
7/19 UPDATE: I was just notified by adam at ajrichard.com that they will overnight the camera so here's hoping for a positive outcome :)
