"I am very happy with my system from Alienware. I purchased an Area-51 m9750 notebook and I am impressed in the performance I get when gaming. It was very easy to set up, runs fallout 3 at high settings quite well, and wireless internet setup was a breeze. Only cons were during the ordering process tracking page that allows you to follow the construction of your system was very glitchy. It would claim that my computer was on phase 4, for example but would stay there for 4-5 days then revert back to stage 1. Other than that the battery life if a bit low but hey you really can't expect to get much time in when you are running 2 video cards. Overall I would recommend Alienware and would purchase from them again. "

It took a little while for them to build my computer, but I was able to follow the progress online, and when I inquired as to why it was in one phase for an extended period of time (about 6 days) I got a prompt e-mail reply explaining that that phase was very time consuming (the building/loading/testing phase...makes sense it would take a while)

When it shipped, it arrived in less than 3 days. I have to say the "out of box" expierence was great! the packaging was great, the computer looks awesome and runs fantastic!

The website is easy to navigate and I had a lot of fun configuring different systems until I settled on the exact combination of features and functionality that fit into my budget. Alienware provides web-based tracking updates during the build and testing process so I knew what was happening with my system the entire time. The final product was a treat to unwrap and was simple to set up. On boot I had a Windows Device Manager popup notification about unknown hardware (the unused onboard audio card) but other than that, setup was a breeze. In all, the system (and all the little touches that Alienware adds) is well worth the money and the purchase was an enjoyable experience as well as a great investment."

"Overall I have had a positive experience with Alienware. I recently ordered a laptop from them and was very pleased with my order. The computer runs great and I will definitely buy from them again in the future. The prices were great and the time the item took to arrive once it was shipped was amazing.

I did have one minor issue and that is with customer service. When I ordered my laptop, I was given an estimated ship date of October 28th. Well, my order sat in the billing state for over a week. I noticed on the order tracking page that it said that if there were any delays they would notify me. Also, if I wanted more detail, I could email them and someone would respond. Well, I sent two emails and never received a response back. I finally decided to call and inquire what the delay was. I was told that some parts were out of stock and that it was causing a delay.

So, I was frustrated that even though they said they would contact me if there was a delay, they never did. About a week later, I still hadn't heard anything and called again only to be told that there were still some parts that were out of stock. So, about a week after that, I finally got notice that my lap[top had shipped. All together, it took almost a month from the original order dat until I received the laptop. I don't mind, as delays do occur, it just would have been nice to have been notified or have had my emails responded to.

But, since that was a minor issue and my laptop works wonderfully, I really can't complain too much. It just would have been nice to have been contacted about the problem, but I won't let that affect my opinion much as things like this do happen. "

"Alienware was amazing to shop thru. They kept me updated on my order, let me know eta's on my laptop, and in general were really helpful. My comp came ready to go out of the box, and when I encountered a problem I called their tech support and they helped me to fix it. I have nothing bad to say about them and will most likely go through them for my desktop when I need a new one. Their website was also very helpful with drivers and general information about what I needed to have in a laptop for what I was looking to do with it."
