"I am a contractor, so I know bad service when I see it. These jokers sold us a split unit that only worked for a little over a month. Come to find out, the service valve was defective from the factory. No problem... BUT, then they forced us to pay for someone to come out and change the part! Then... they had the GAUL to ask for SHIPPING!!!! (for the bad part).
BUYER BEWARE! Steer clear from folks who refuse to stand behind their products.

"I was cautious during the buying process of a mini split AC unit. Being an engineer I asked many questions and the sales and technical staff were happy to help and and respond without hesitation. I rec'd the 5 Zone unit in about a week and it took me another week to plan out how to install the units in a way where all the Freon, Electrical and Condensate lines where hidden so to keep everything neat. It took two weekends to install the units and they fired up first shot. Almost no noise from interior air evaporator handlers or exterior condenser unit. "

"I decided that I wasn't going to pay the outrageous amount that I was quoted from numerous HVAC (A/C) installation companies. I know that they need to make a profit but, "Come On" !! The labor was more then twice the cost of what they were purchasing the products for wholesale. So, I searched the internet and found multiple suppliers but one continued to stick out in particular. ALPINE. Their website made it easy to compare the different options, their customer service on the site, and on the phone were excellent. They made it very easy to purchase the correct products at a fair price. The shipping was fast and the curbside lift gate service is definitely the way to go. I was able to track where my order was in transit and the carrier called a day ahead to schedule a time to deliver it. The driver was friendly and rolled the pallet of cartons into the garage. I checked out the contents and all was well. I installed the encased coil on the furnace and wired the disconnect and outside condenser unit myself. Easy enough. It took a while to do this write up because my a/c tech, who flushed the old lines, did the connections and the startup, was too busy to make it over for a couple of weeks. When he did, everything fired up and so far is working great. I would not hesitate to go this route again. Alpine was great to do business with. I highly recommend them to anyone who feels they are capable of doing their own installation and wants to save a pretty good chunk of money."

As you noted in your review we do make a point to provide all of our policies on our website for our customers to review prior to purchase; these policies apply to all customers. We absolutely stand behind our products which is why we have shipped you the replacement gas valve free of cost under warranty and waived the shipping fee. We do not, however, provide installation so we are unable to warranty any post-installation labor. In fact many of our customers work out a separate labor warranty with their installer for instances like these. Upon review of your order I do see that we did request for you to submit an invoice for the labor costs of repair as a one-time exception so that we can review and see how we can help you from there, but it does not appear that you have provided that to us. We are doing our best to work with you towards a resolution, but we cannot do anything until you provide that invoice.
