"Prior to ordering the SRB4106 vent duct, I called and spoke with a "technical person" in ensure the downward duct was truly centered in the vent, as described. The person I spoke with put me on hold for some time, called someone at the warehouse, so he said, came back and said it was centered for sure. I asked this because I had looked around a lot and everyone that I found was off set to one side. I had already ordered the part once and found it to be wrong and I wanted to make sure it was correct. Once he assured me it was centered I ordered. Received the part a few days later and it was offset. In the meantime, I opted not to have one made, losing more time on the job. I called back on 4/2/19 to express my disappointment and spoke with a very nice lady who took down all the information and said she would investigate and email me back. Very professional processes and she was "sincerely sorry," but that was the end of it. REVISED: I never heard anything back until I sent a review explaining my disappointment. Dan responded immediately after looking into the matter and apologized and explained they had indeed provided a full refund to my credit card. I took a second look and sure enough the refund was there. I must had missed it or overlooked it somehow. I apologize for this. I would suggest that a follow-up call or email is made when an issue addressed explaining what the findings and the resolve is. Had I received a call I would have known something was happening, vs. thinking I was forgotten. I generally look at my credit card statement one a month only. Have said all of that. I have revised my review and I am totally satisfied with the resolve provide. I would have rated a "5" had the part been as described. But I thank you and appreciate the way this was handled. Based on the way I the overall professionalism of Alpine it is the resolve I would have expected. You guys are great and have earned a customer back. "

"We needed to replace an old GE Zoneline thru-the-wall ac/heater in our three-season room. After much research online, we first decided on which new model to purchase and then selected Alpine Home Air Products because of their pricing, free delivery (although we paid extra for inside delivery), and reviews. We ordered online on a Thursday afternoon. Five minutes after completing the order we received a phone call from an Alpine employee. He saw the order and was following up to make sure we had listed everything we needed. He knew the unit couldn't be installed without the sleeve or collar box that the unit has to be mounted in. We were able to use our existing box, but were surprised and appreciated the personal attention to making sure everything was complete for a successful installation. He spent time answering questions, and when asked about delivery time he suggested we could call the next afternoon. On Friday afternoon, before we had a chance to call, Dayton Freight called us! And, lo and behold, the semi pulled up in front of the house by 12:20 pm on Monday. The ac/heater, outside cover grille, and correct power cord were carefully and safely packed onto a skid - no damage. After an easy removal of the old GE and installation of the new (we used our electricians), it's quietly cooling the room as this is being typed. A great GE product and Alpine Home Air Products is an outstanding company to buy through. This is a long review but well worth the time to let others know how pleased we are with their service."
