"I needed to purchase a 3 ton condenser and coil to replace my home's split system a/c , I was unhappy with the quote I received from a local HVAC contractor and decided to investigate pricing for a/c equipment online and soon came across the website for Alpine . I spoke to Pete at Alpine and explained to him what I needed , he was very helpful and gave me very good information and advice . I purchased a Goodman 3 ton unit and compatible uncased coil , new lineset and drain pan for a very reasonable price .I was going to do most of the installation myself but to ensure I got Goodman's 10 year warranty I checked around for a local , licensed HVAC installer who would do the job on a time basis . After 3 attempts I located someone willing to do it , as everything was already in place such as wiring , condensate drain etc he estimated the job would take two hours and we agreed on a price of $500. He did the job himself with no other help in the two hours , I paid him the $500 and I am very pleased with the result . He didn't need to use the new drain pan and lineset and after contacting Alpine I arranged to return these parts for credit , Alpine was very prompt and efficient in arranging the return . I have no hesitation in recommending Alpine Home Air Products , their customer service is outstanding ."

"We recently purchased a4 zone mini split 30k btu unit. It was very easy to install using common sense (directions weren’t the best and sort of skipped around not mentioning key things; ie removable drain hose to allow for drainage from opposite side) I also recommend having a professional come for unit start up. Tech support explained vacuum process well but utilized vacuum process as a way to leak check as well. I have a friend who does hvac and he highly recommended pressurizing with nitrogen and leak checking before putting the system under vacuum. Also, as mentioned in other reviews, about half of the factory flares were garbage. Better off cutting them all off and flaring your own ends. Other than those things, the units work amazingly! They are super quiet and blow very cold (when required). We have our daughters rooms set to 72, our mai living area is set to 70 and our bedroom is set to 68 degrees. We run the units on auto and it does a great job keeping all zones at desired temps. The outside unit is also very quiet. It’s barrly noticeable even when you’re actively trying to listen for it while you’re outside. We can’t hear our unit inside at all, even when sitting on the couch against the outside wall where the outdoor unit sits. Overall, we are HIGHLY SATISFIED with the system. All zones are working very well and is 96 degrees outside all week with very high humidity. Highly recommended to anyone considering purchasing one. "
