"After selling me a unit that was no appropriate to my needs, Alpine turned around and try to charge me $280 to ship it back. I never had the opportunity to purchase the $30 return flat fee. Alpine said because it was an online order, but truth is Randall assisted me thru the whole process and never mentioned that option. Deeply disappointed. I was prepared to tell me contractors about Alpine but because of this shipping issue that Alpine won't resolve with me, I am out close to $300 for a unit that never met my criteria. A total mess.

Upon reviewing your order, I see you requested a cooling only unit but after experiencing some issues with your furnace you wished to make an exchange two days after your order had shipped. In this case, per our return policy shipping fees would be deducted from your refund. Our return policy agreed to at time of purchase, states that "Should you return your equipment purchase for personal reasons, shipping fees to and from your location will be deducted from your refund." Also, while Randall did offer you phone consultation initially, you completed the purchase yourself online where the option to add $30 flat rate return shipping is available to add to your order at time of checkout, even if you checkout online. It is available on the terms and conditions screen directly below the return policy and can be added to your cart directly from that screen. The terms and conditions are agreed to at time of checkout, including the return policy with the option to add flat rate return shipping.
