Damaged furnace

"I received a damaged furnace and Apline solution is I take it apart and fix it. I call and ask to speak to a supervisor and promptly get transferred to a answering machine. Without a call back."

"The delivery was not handled well. Charging my card is efficient but delivery commitment cannot even be met. I spoke to Sherry of customer service and there was no apology for the delay in shipping nor for the change in shipping date arranged by Lorena.

I was expecting a delivery on the 21st of Sept. But around 11am I got a call from Lorena informing me that my delivery will be done on the 22nd of Sept between 12 to 6 pm. While she was reading the address, I noticed that I did have a typo error on the address which I corrected. A few minutes later I received a call from Melissa saying that I should be paying additional 29 something for shipping due to the change in address. I called customer service, Sherry answered with Jay on the other line but Lorena refused to speak because Jay said she was with a customer. So.... we all know what happened...when I point out the delay in delivery she said..."we could have delivered ahead of schedule had you answered our phone call"...hey...I have an email???? You could have emailed me.... but considering I was at work... did not want to be upset for just 29 dollars and change... I just let it go... remember... LORENA CALLED ME FORST REQUESTING TAHT THE DELIVERY BE ON 22ND INSTEAD OF THE 21ST OF SEPTEMBER... I made arrangement after the call... informed people in the house and everything was set ... Had Lorena not rescheduled the delivery, the address could have been the same, I could have made arrangement with my front neighbor who is 5 meters across from my house, I could have avoided the 29 dollars. Your customer service could have handled this in a more amicable manner. Very SAD!!!

Thank you for your review, I am sorry for the delivery issues and delay which you experienced. I can understand your frustration with the response to the change in your delivery address when the carrier called to reschedule delivery and confirm address. Whenever there is a change to delivery address, no matter how minor, the delivery company does charge a reconsignment fee. It is our policy that the customer is responsible for this additional cost to the otherwise free standard delivery. I understand that it was a minor change, just down the block from the address on file, I am very sorry that the reconsignment policy was not explained to you more clearly prior to changing the delivery address with the carrier. I have reviewed the order and process with our customer solutions team so that, should similar situations occur in the future, they can be handled with more clear communication to the customer.
