Thank you for your review. We have a 30-day return policy and if a return is due to personal reasons, then the customer would be responsible for shipping costs. We do offer Flat Rate Shipping which, if purchased at time of the initial order, acts as a shipping insurance for customers and they are not responsible for return shipping costs. Since we are shipping large items via freight carriers, if a return is requested for reasons outside of Alpine's control, then we are happy to authorize the return but do ask the customer to be responsible for shipping costs. Thank you for your review. I am very sorry to hear about the issues which you experienced due to a lost plenum from the shipment. I can understand your frustration - please know that Alpine does not consider itself infallible, we are all human and we know that mistakes happen. If we make a mistake, we do our best to make it right with the customer and I am sorry that is not the impression you were given.
I did review your order, every shipment which we send out is photographed in our warehouse so that, though rare, if errors do occur we are then able to track where things most likely went wrong. The photos of your shipment from our warehouse do show the plenum packaged on the skid with the rest of your shipment, which is why we believe it was truly lost in transit. Per our Shortage (Lost in Transit) policy we have the carrier doing a dock check and are working with them to locate the lost item, in the meantime we are processing a replacement plenum for you. We are working to ensure that you receive the plenum for your project as soon as possible, while it is not ideal and I am sorry for the delay caused by this missing item, please know that we are working to ensure you have the fastest resolution possible.
