"I have ordered before and get good products and fast delivery. However, the filter received was a different size than what I ordered. I ordered a 4 inch. Received a 3 Inch. The size was good for fitting in the slot. We will go ahead and use it. Thank You"

Still Waiting for my Minisplit

"After waiting 2 weeks I realized that the minisplit I ordered was supposed to be delivered a week ago, I called and they haven't even shipt it and after I called they said that it was because I asked if I could downgrade it, but they never answered or shipped my minisplit.. hope it gets here soon"

Ripoff

"Returned the first unit at advice of our ac installer, catching it before it was even delivered. $350 shipping charge on the return? No way is this acceptable. Stay far, far away from this company and buy locally. "

“Hello Shield,

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear about the frustration which you experienced regarding the return credit of your order. Unfortunately, while you may not have fully received shipment of your order, it was already at the destination terminal and had shipped from our warehouse in Kentucky to a local terminal in California. As agreed to at time of checkout with order placement, should you be returning or refusing shipment for personal reasons (non-damage), shipping is deducted from return credit.

I understand that the amount may seem high, however we are shipping large and heavy items by freight which costs much more than a small parcel or Ground shipment. We do not assess any further fee than what we have been charged by the carrier.

We do offer Flat Rate Shipping for $30, which can be purchased upfront with your order as a shipping insurance, should you need to return the item for personal reasons. If this Flat Rate Shipping is purchased upfront, then no shipping is deducted from a return credit within the 30 day return period.

Again, I am sorry for any frustration which this may have caused and can understand your concern. Please know that we only deduct the actual shipping we are charged by the carrier in cases where a customer chooses to return a shipment for personal reasons and has not purchased the Flat Rate Shipping upfront.

"Condenser and coil arrived in my driveway in what appears to be excellent condition. It will be some time before I can tell if the product works as well as the Goodman product I am replacing. I'll soon be interviewing licensed folks to do the final connections and start up. The service so far from Alpine Product staff has been outstanding. I will continue to do business with them. Bill Z, the Alpine product consultant I worked with is great!"

Waiting and sweating it out.

"Ordered Goodman products. Paid $75 for express delivery. Got product 4 days later. Order confirmation email has "expected delivery date"- This is date that delivery company receives order. Actual delivery date comes from delivery company. Alpine home air Web site claims order shipment in 24 hours. Keep your $75 in your pocket. Also 10 year warranty only applies when a Goodman dealer installs your unit."

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear about the delays which you experienced with your delivery. I reviewed your order and it looks like the delay in receipt was due to the shipping company not being able to reach you at the phone number originally provided. Unfortunately, our shipping carriers do need to be able to reach you by phone to schedule exact delivery - this is to ensure that someone is there to inspect the shipment for damage and sign for delivery. As the delivery receipt is a legal document transferring responsibility for the products to you, we want to be sure that our customers are satisfied with the condition of their products before the carrier leaves. I am glad that we were able to get an accurate phone number for you so that your product could be delivered as quickly as possible.

I think there is also a bit of confusion regarding the warranty. While we do require that a licensed technician does the final installation and testing of system, it does not need to be specifically a Goodman certified technician. As long as it is a licensed installer and your product is then registered on the Goodman site, we are able to fully honor that warranty.

Again, my sincere apologies for the delay to you receiving your shipment and the confusion around why it was delayed, along with our warranty policies.
