"I received my furnace on the day promised.
Alpine held up their end of the deal on that one!

Unfortunately, it was dented ,scratched , and some
sheet metal bent/distorted.
Bummer , freight company...
The dents and scratches do not appear to be causing any
problem with the function of the furnace. However , the distorted
sheet metal on the enclosure caused the blower door to be
"sprung" out of shape and would not seal. Also the electrical interlock would not engage.
The installer was able to do some sheet metal bending
and straightening to where the door is now serviceable. The
furnace is in place but not connected or commissioned yet.
( it took some time to do the repairs)
I look forward to no more issues after commissioning."

It was their understanding that this credit amount was amenable to you based upon the slight damage documented. Is the amount of damage more extensive than previously thought?
