"Amazon is the place where I do 90% of my online shopping. I have placed over 100 orders over the last 5 years, and except for a handful of small incidents (which were always solved to my satisfaction once customer service was contacted) the service has always been excellent.

I was surprised to see a relatively low rating here fro Amazon until I saw that most of the negative reviews here are for two things:

1. Problems created by Amazons 3rd party sellers -This cannot be directly controlled by Amazon, although they stand behind the product and service if we don't receive the item as described from the 3rd party seller. I do believe however, that Amazon needs to put more effort into regulating the whole process, i.e. suspend sellers who receive negative feedback 2 often, etc.

2. slow shipping speed: you get what you pay for. If you use free super saver shipping, it may take 1-2 weeks for you to get the item.

I cannot recommend Amazon highly enough."
