"In the last 4 months I've been charged late fees because Synchrony bank aka amazon prime card had put my account on hold FOR MAKING A LARGE PAYMENT. The payment TO the card clears my personal bank account and amazon prime card puts my credit on hold for two weeks BECAUSE I made a large payment towards my account...not a charge a PAYMENT!! As a result two of my orders got denied with plenty of balance because they put my account on hold for making a payment!!!???!!! Is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of!! If you do a "credit card" through amazon DO NOT do the amazon prime card. "
"I bought a breast pump at Amazon. What I received was an unpackaged item. The label attached to the original box. The box has been deformed and dirty.
I think no mother is willing to receive such an item. It is delivered through many cities without packing box."

"I've been with Amazon Prime at least 5 years, probably more like 7 or 8. Today I was on the amazon.com site browsing when a little pop-up window solicits me, saying.... "download the amazon app and we will give you $10 off a $20 purchase"... I went ahead and clicked the link provided within the pop up ad. It downloaded the amazon app and I resumed browsing. After putting $20 of items (prime items) in my cart, went to check out, and low and behold there was no $10 credit as advertised in the promotional pop up! I called customer service and after being on the phone for over a half hour and speaking to two different people I had no choice but to cancel my Prime Membership. WHY would I want to be with a company that doesn't stand by their own words!?!
They solicited me with an offer so I'm not really sure what's going through their heads right now...but apparently they need the $10 more than I do, bless their little heart!
All I can say is if they dont want to honor their promotions maybe they shouldn't solicit people with little pop up windows ....
The funny thing is not only did I cancel my Prime membership (for which they will have to refund me 120...) but I will not be renewing it again in the future!!!
So they lost 120 this year and 100's in future years....
Overall this was more of a blessing in disguise... now I'm free!!!
I won't have to pay 120 a year for free shipping that I use only a handful of times each year. Otherwise the only other service I was using was Amazon video... and between you and me it leaves a lot to be desired. Nothing that Netflix or Hulu cant do as well or better.

Starting with first Fresh becoming unreliable to being discontinued in my area to the new gift registry. With their new registry button, they will be collecting your shopping habits (invasion of privacy) and you can no longer inform others buying from the list that you purchased from elsewhere. "My family and I have been using Amazon.com and their prime membership for a few years now for purchasing about anything and everything, but unfortunately will now be taking our business elsewhere. I recently placed an order for pool chemicals expecting to recieve them in 2 days (due to the membership fee we pay each month for prime). Instead of my order, I recieved a notification that items were damaged. I called and was told that a refund had been processed so I ordered them again expecting the package to be delivered on Sunday. Again, instead of a package I recieved a notification that there was a delay and that it may arrive by Wednesday so I called again. This time I was assured the package would be delivered by mid day Monday, but again no package and another phone call. Now we are at a little over a week later and I have placed the same order for the 3rd time with a new "expected" delivery date of 2 more days - Wednesday. My advice, if it is an item you need or are expecting by a certain date don't order from Amazon and don't waste your money on a prime membership that worthless anyway!!!"
"Customer service **** now .they dont care how much money you spent. I literally bought everything through Amazon because of prime. Now when they screwed up by sending used and wrong size they refused to accommodate your with their mistake .so if you overnight shipping items and they sent both wrong size and used up and wasted your time waiting when you need it by certain day .it took 4 agents to make things right over expediting shipping for replacement that only cost $3.99. They now dont respond to your email when you complaint or asked question like before. New staffs recently I encounter aren't like before .I ended up contacting seller and manufacture to resolve issue coz they too stuck up to handle over my one issue so I didnt even want to attempt asking for help .then if you write review on product and if you include their mistake or negative they wont post It .very interesting. "Amazon has gone from a trusted company to a monopoly which does not care for its consumers.
I had a package which showed as arrived but was unable to locate the package.
I contacted Amazon after I gave the package another day to arrive, they suggested give it 72 more hours just to verify. Instead of attempting to figure out what is happening, the blame was shifted to me and the shipping company. They advised only if I am able to produce a police report will they be able to investigate further.
After calling the police and my checking with my neighbors, no one saw anything and the police are not willing to help since there is no information to go off of. So now I am out my product and the money. This is unacceptable and I will not stop until every review site, the Better Business Bureau, and if need be my lawyer hear about this horrendous service by Amazon."
"Ordered a laundry cart on june 15 th with an anticipated delivery of june 17th. Wasn't delivered and say in a warehouse in Garland tx since 4:41 am on Monday. Had to call amazon on Wednesday to see when it would 9 out for delivery. Out for delivery ams had been in my complex area for 2 hours and still has not been delivered.
