"Dear Sirs,
I order a wardrobe on AMAZON.in (Order #407-9825351-5560332) with HomeTown a subsidiary of Indian Future Group. Order was placed on Thursday, January 4, 2018 and delivered on January 14.
The product was not conform as it proved impossible to put together, due to some misconception or error in the production process : holes for wooden pegs and screws were not matching.
Since January 14, I have tried to get some one form either Amazon and/or HomeTown, to organise the return and refund. Nobody, either at Amazon and/or at HomeTown seems to care about the multiple emails, and complaints sent this January 14.
On a regular basis I received from the Seller Home Town message announcing that the pick-up for return and refund will be organised soon (in the next 24 hours, then in the next 48 hours, then in the next 72 hours).
In the meantime, Customer Services from Amazon sends messages that are just showing they do not care about putting pressure on the seller.
At the end nothing happens.
HomeTown keeps informing Amazon that I refused/canceled the pick-up.
Amazon keeps sending BS messages.
The worse is that Amazon refused to publish my review because it was too negative for them and the Seller.
Last occurence, not later than yesterday is that my Security Guard who called on my behalf (I do not speak Hindi and it seems that people at HomeTown does not speak English) was informed that our response was too late and pick-up is cancelled.
All of that reflects very badly on AMAZON.IN and on HOMETOWN/FUTURE GROUP.
So I strongly recommend to be very careful before ordering with AMAZON.in or with HomeTown.

"To a previous reviewer...Amazon will not dominate the online market EVER if they persist in bad customer service. Fortunately I have never had a problem with getting my products quickly. But if I need to return and actually get my money BACK, it’s a nightmare. Purchases no longer come with a packaging slip or receipt. Since I bought many items at once this time, that would have helped. Needed to return a few items and took them up on their new offer to leave returns at Kohl’s. My items are still “lost” 3 weeks later. Amazon “customer service” tells me there’s nothing they can do, but they at least said it very politely. Ugh!"

Contacted support and was told not available through prime. Rechecked 36 hours later and prime had relisted it at $201. Neither online nor phone support would honor the advertised price, but offered to sell it for the new price. "

I get a call and answer to hold music. I absolutely HATE when call centers do this. You call ME to put me on hold? Screw that, and screw Amazon.
Amazon is going downhill. It's becoming like Google. Something you rely on almost exclusively that has lost touch with customers. Competition needs to sweep in that focuses on customer support."
"Amazon used to be my go to but they have become completely unreliable and incompetent. What good is a "Guaranteed delivery date" when it is inaccurate. Once again amazon has failed to deliver the product on it's guaranteed delievery date. Item was purchased on 2/7/18 with Free 2 day prime delivery and a guaranteed delivery date of 2/9/18. Item has not arrived and the date is past. Amazon is really missing the boat with this. I have purchased hundreds of products through amazon over the years and in the past 24 months the majority of them have not arrived by the date they were guaranteed to arrive by. This goes from products that were sold by amazon as well as fulfilled by amazon. I've had to return items that were purchased for birthday and christmas gifts well in advance of the date needed, that had not arrived in time despite "guaranteed 2 day shipping". This will be there downfall.
