"Ordered an OTG cable and a USB hub on 3rd October; should have received them by 12th Oct. Have called Amazon 6-8 times now and every time they say that I will receive them within 24 hrs. The stupid carrier - Ecom Express doesn't even pick up calls. First the tracker said that the delivery went to some wrong hub by mistake, then it wrongfully said that it was delivered but I was not there to receive. To top it all, then the tracker said that I have called and asked that my order be delayed. It is 28th October today and I have lost all hope. Thanks a lot Amazon. In case someone didn't understood all that and the intended sarcasm, allow me to be rather blunt. AMAZON SUCKS. "Earth's Most Customer- Centric Company" the slogan of Amazon?? ..... BS"
"I love Amazon! Amazon Prime is the best. I love ordering things and having them on my doorstep two days later. "
"I made a purchase on 7/29/2015 for an item Amazom.com showed they had stock. Delivery was said to be 5-7 days. After 10 days I checked the status of the order and it had not shipped yet. I spoke to customer service and was told it was an Amazon item and was on order even though when I placed the order they had plenty of stock. They said it could take 4-6 weeks for the item to arrive and asked if I wanted to cancel the order, which I said no. Today I checked the status of my order and discovered Amazon cancelled the order in mid-September and never notified me. Amazon has other suppliers selling the same item but at a higher price which they will not match. This is not a good way to conduct business and I am very dissatisfied with Amazon.com.
Beware of any and all purchases you make from Amazon as you may never receive them.

"Purchased a printer on Amazon. Printer arrived in a "Home Depot" Box 2X the size with about 12 pieces of newspaper as padding. I contacted the seller over 9 times with no resolution. Printer had arrived smashed. Amazon told me that I had to send it back and pay the shipping. Amazon is horrible to deal with. All they do is email form responses computer generated.
Never again will I order from them."
"I have to say that i buy a lot from amazon and rarely have problems, in fact it is nearly always a good experience. but when there is a problem their customer service seems worthless so i am giving them a poor rating simply because of their customer service. Case in point--Our credit card company saw some funny charges so they stopped that day's charges and reissued the card. unfortunately we had some orders that had just shipped from amazon and they completely freaked out. They sent emails with specific instructions to add the replacement credit card to our account and then reply with the email with the last 2 digits of the new credit card to change the billing over. Great except they also froze our account so we could not get in. Several calls and emails to customer service were no help as everyone says they cannot unlock the account. over a week later and we are still in this endless loop. pathetic. Every one of our other vendors handled this in a much more professional manner while amazon came across as being clueless."
"I love to browse Amazon. There are so many things I can find that are not in my local stores. I have never had trouble with buying from Amazon. "
"I'm surprised that Amazon has received such low ratings. I really enjoyed shopping on amazon until our state passed a law requiring them to charge sales tax. Now, there is not much to save on here. The times I have had to return things, they have been good about refunding my money quickly, however, it makes me angry every time I receive email communication from them because it comes from a worker from a foreign country who does not know how to use pronouns or English grammar correctly. I also had a stretch of orders that needed to be returned and I received a threatening email from them stating that if I had any more excessive returns they would limit my ability to order from them. What was so maddening about that email was, it did not take into account my individual circumstances. For example, one of those orders showed "returned" on my order screen, but it was not returned, I kept it and paid for it, but since they issued a partial credit for an accessory, the whole order showed "returned". The email made me halt my ordering from them for a while out of anger, and I guess I haven't ordered that much from them since receiving it. Their prices change daily, so you need to do your research. Their free shipping is slow and their international sellers are selling items in the US from China and amazon does not require them to state the item will come from China, so many customers are upset when they order an item and it takes 3-4 weeks to come. They are not expecting that. Also, amazon gift cards DO NOT have a toll free number to call to verify the gift card balance. There is no way of verifying. You need to find out if your gift card contains the correct balance when you go to use it. I give them 3 stars because they do have lots of products all in one site. There is definitely much room for improvement. It is also very difficult to contact customer service."
"My nightmare started when I first ordered a console from their site, after a week the tracking had shown "delivered" yet I did not receive my product. Amazon was quick to send out a replacement so I can receive it before my son's birthday (which is why I purchase the console) and I was very happy at the moment with their customer service. Time has come and the same thing happened (address error? carrier error? someone stealing it off my porch?) and when contacting Amazon I was accused of criminal activity. After several phone calls and plenty of promises I still have not received a refund. My last phone call was dealt with by Tanya who had extreme attitude. Not only was denying all that I've said, she shut the phone in my face after I sarcastically told the rep that it was nice to be told that I would not receive help. She simply said "thanks, bye bye" and immediately shut the phone in my face. This will not go unnoticed."
"Amazon is in bed with Google. Try googling "Amazon Reviews"....good luck...not even Google Plus Reviews are available. Shame on you Gaagle!
As to Amazon they are intentionally slowing their shipments to non-plus customers, to push them to pay $99....I know because I have been ordering from them for years.
Latest example: today I got an item I ordered from Amazon for $2.99 that was shipped from China that came just one day after the $60 stuff from same order shipped by Amazon from good old USA.!!!???? Go figure. I am still waiting on another item from same order..........I am in Kentucky and its probably coming from Ohio......"
"I registered on amazon.co.uk and try to buy simple Sony Playstation 4. And on next day my account blocked, cause they think what i'm not real. They force me send them information about my card. I'm simple decent woman. Why i must send them this information?!"
"Great service and fast delivery with amazon prime. I love it"
"Not happy with Amazon. Not only have they gone down hill there now Advertising SPONSORED Ads with lower prices that they refuse to price match!
Here is the transcript of the chat I just had with 2 of Amazon's Customer Reps.
You are now connected to Braulio from Amazon.com
Me: Request for Pricematch
Braulio: Hello, my name is Braulio. I'm here to help you today.
Me: Howdy
You all have a sponsored ad that is advertising lower prices than yours on a TV. Although there not on your price match list.
I would request you honor your sponsors price for the same exact tv.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00R45...(See full link)
The sponsor you have listed is Eastcoasttv.com a Sponsored Ad found on the same link on your website. http://www.eastcoasttvs.com/Sony-LED-HD...(See full link)
That link was directly found from the sponsored ad on Amazon
Braulio: I see
Let me connect you to a member of our LIT team. It will only take a moment.
Me: OK
A Customer Service Associate will be with you in a moment.
You are now connected to Amazon from Amazon.com
Me: Howdy
Amazon: Hello, this is Alex. What kind of Price match are you looking for?
You can see the link to the Amazon product and the link to your sponsored Ad in the above text.
Amazon: that website is not eligible for Price Match.
Me: thats why I disagree with you have a sponsored Ad
on the Amazon web page
And you don't have them as a website you will price match
So I started this chat
If your willing to Sponsor content from there website
you should be willing to price match them.
Amazon: I'm sorry, but that's the list of eligible retailers.
Me: Why are you allowing them to advertise on Amazon.com If you won't price match them?
I realize that they are not on the eligible retail list. But you all can't post an Ad for a lower price on a competitor website that you won't match. You all should pull your sponsorship with them
or price match it.
Amazon: Joe, you already had a list, you can see that the website you showed me is not eligible. I'm sorry, this is not valid and you know it.
Me: It feels to me like the sponsored Ad is pretty much a bait and switch tactic.
Why would you allow them to advertise on Amazon?
Amazon: Did the add says that the website was eligible for a price match?
It was just showing the price of the TV from a different website
Me: I found the Ad on Amazon.com as a Sponsored Ad.
Amazon: if you want to go ahead and get it for that price, why don't you purchase the tv from that website?
Me: You all were advertising their website. Because they use bait and switch.
You all are allowing a bad site to be advertised on Amazon.com and you refuse to price match them.
Amazon: Not me; does the policy shows you that the website is eligible for price match?
would be my pleasure to send you that link again
Me: Sure. And the policy does not list eastcoasttv.com as a website that you are currently price matching from.
http://www.eastcoasttvs.com/Sony-LED-HD...(See full link)
however I got that link from Amazon.com
Amazon: it's from an add.
Me: You have it as an Advertised Sponsor.
Amazon: I'm sorry, the answer will be the same: is not eligible.
Me: I'm telling you that they are bad. I can prove that. They have a terrible history.
Amazon: So no, we cannot approve that. I'm sorry.
Me: However you are advertising them as a valid sponsored Ad. You are saying they are a good website.
By allowing them to Advertise on Amazon.com
Amazon: The sponsor add will show you adds about different websites based on your search history or the website were you have been
Me: And on the same exact page as the link to your price.
Amazon: same happens when you login into facebook and see an Amazon add.
Me: So you all should not all them as a sponsor.
Amazon: is not valid, we can't approve it, it's against our policies. Now... Is there something else that I can assist you with?
Me: Especially if your not willing to price match.
You can make sure there Ad gets pulled.
Amazon: Okay, anything else?
Amazon: I'm sorry, this is against policy, so we can't approve it. Keep this chat in your history if you want to, but I'm really sorry, we can't approve it.
Is not valid, is not an eligible retailer, I'm sorry, but the answer is no."
"I'm crazy about Amazon! Here I can find everything - from kitchen utensils to fur coat. And I really like prices. Is usually lower then in shops and markets. And all this sales, discounts... I like to buy things in internet! Maybe I'm really lucky but I never had any problems with seller or delivery. And every time I'm enjoying high quality of my orders! Amazon is the best! Use it all the time and recommend it to all my friends."
"I will not be using amazin prime again. I used to buy off at least once a week. But they took money out of mine and my boyfriends account for amazing prime without our concent and now our son has to go days without what he needs until they give us our money back. Screw Amazon. "
"Amazon A-Z Guarantee. Not so much! I returned an item for $149.00 after I was told they would accept the return. So I sent back the product, in the meantime I also got a notice that my return would NOT be accepted. There was no recourse for me even though I provided an e-mail of the 1st return acceptance. (Me: out $149.00 / Sirius Co. thru Amazon: got their product back AND $149.00! Great deal for them."
