"forget the reviews of their vendors the company Amazon is who should really be reviewed
have you been purchasing for years to the same address only to be told sorry its your fault
your address is undeliverable when they have delivered over 100 packages....... then when you call
they say they will credit you .............. good luck with that .......... not true ............... take it up with Amex as product not received .........if you really need something get in your car and go pick it
up don't rely on amazon and if you call for help you'll get a made up answer with is not truthful

"i purchased a sharp microwave drawer and they canceled my order ..i waited three days to watch for shipping and they all the sudden cancelled with no explanation but was out of stock..it was priced at 899.00 then a slash through it said now 699.00 i bought. i bought and applied for amazon store credit .. it went right through .. now they have cancelled the item because i believe it was a false advertising as when i questioned them about it they said had no more..now i only see online for 1000.00 plus so my personal opinion is they decided not to accept my payment of 699.00..it was the price they made it i bought it and now two days later no microwave..never again with amazon to many third parties maybe not so much on the up and up..see ya amazon.ALL CUSTOMER SERVICE DID FOR ME WAS TELL ME I WAS SCREWED OUT OF THE ITEM ..

"Amazon has some good items and prices but their delivery team - Amazon Logistics let them down. This particular order, the delivery man left my item outside the porch in the open air when I have requested it to be place inside the porch as a secured place. Previous within the last 12 month, there had been 2 failed deliveries. Both times the delivery did not take place on the day they promised and I am a prime customer. "

"Amazon orders have consistently come through time and time again with no issue for the past 10 years. The issues that I did happen to have with few product, Amazon customer support has not only been above and beyond ANY other e-tailer, they go out of their way to make it up to you so they don't lose your business, most of the time by shipping out a replacement next day while they send you a label to send the previous product at your leisure.

Most of my purchases which tend to be computer related though have gone to Amazon for the past 5 years instead of NewEgg simply because Amazon has offered far better pricing, so the pricing against competing e-tailers in different segments is certainly a huge plus.


I have been seeing an awful lot of 1 - 3 star reviews here on ResellerRatings lately, and they are reviews that have next to NOTHING to do with AMAZON, but with the 3rd party sellers these uneducated consumers are buying from. In fact, those reviews should probably all be removed, because it's pure stupidity. If you want to deal with AMAZON, then buy your product, THROUGH Amazon, not through someone on their marketplace. If it doesn't say "Sold by Amazon.com", you aren't dealing with Amazon.


The only thing I DO have against Amazon, was that they had a Prime Day that was "supposed" to be better deals than Black Friday, etc. etc. Well... Prime Day was absolutely terrible and that was disappointing, but did it directly affect me in some way shape or form? No... Their advertising it as something it was not was just a little inconsiderate.

"Amazon 3rd party seller bigfish1980 is based in China and sells several products on Amazon. I don't know the quality of all the items sold by bigfish1980, but the stainless door sill protectors I purchased for a 2015 Honda Accord Sedan do not stay on. The 3M tape strips are too thin to contact the door sill. The tape strips need to be much thicker. They fall off. Complete waste of money. If I could send these inferior products back, I would, but they came from China and the return freight would cost more than the product costs. The seller, bigfish1980 has given me a full refund, even though I won't be sending these defective items back to Hong Kong, China. Very honest seller and aims to please and make things right!!"

"Terrible experience. I ordered 32 gifts for my daughter's goodybags to give at her party. A week after they were promised to ship, I wrote where's my stuff. They were looking into it. For 2 days. Then they told me they did not have it. I had to run out to target to get something. Not the worst, but..."

"If I could give them 0 stars I would. Purchased aluminum diamond plate pickup truck bed rail protectors through Amazon from a company in GA named East Coast Jeeps. Parts arrived on 3 August, 2015 damaged so I contacted Amazon and East Coast Jeeps. It should have been easy to return damaged parts due to improper packaging, not so. They wanted pictures on two different occasions. Due to a lack of cooperation by East Coast Jeeps, I filed an A-Z guarantee with Amazon on 7 August. East Coast Jeeps delayed filing a damage claim with UPS until 10 August. I returned the parts via UPS on 12 August and immediately informed East Coast Jeeps and Amazon of the parts being out of my hands as I was requested to do. Here it is 17 August and East Coast Jeeps hasn't returned an email since 11 August and Amazon just tells me "they are looking into the matter" but no refund. Let it be known that East Coast Jeeps is selling parts that have been returned and are incomplete and are repackaging them and selling them as "new". The part I received was missing numerous parts and instructions let alone that it was not packaged with any protection inside the box, Not the way it came from the manufacturer. I am disgusted with Amazon. I have not been on hold with them for almost 30 minutes and no supervisor is available to deal with this issue. Guess if they ignore me I will go away."

"Amazon.com is an overpriced store that claims to offer "free shipping" for Prime Members, yet they encourage sellers to include the shipping price in the cost of the item. Everything is much more expensive than your local grocery store. Additionally, if you complain, they go back and delete all of your consumer reviews to try and "punish" you. MAJOR review manipulation. Closing my Amazon account today!"

"Amazon used to be great. I used to rave about Prime and its benefits. But recently, things have changed. Prime is no longer two days. Logistics are a nightmare. Shipping is problematic.

Case and point: I received a notification on my phone today (a Saturday) that UPS had made a delivery attempt (at 8am...on a Saturday). I didn't hear the bell, but I looked outside, and there was no evidence of a delivery attempt. I called UPS, and they said they've handed it off to the Post Office so it's their problem. As an Amazon customer, this amounts to a terrible experience on my end.

Like I said, things didn't used to be this way. Amazon WAS great. They are no longer. I've set my Prime membership to expire, and will be moving as many of my purchases as possible away from Amazon to other retailers (both online and local).
