"By far this is the best mattress of my 70 years of life! And the best pillow, also. I have several medical problems with my back, including two bulging discs and spinal stenosis. After hearing a couple of young relatives tell me about how much an Amerisleep mattress helped their back pain, I decided to switch from my traditional mattress. I ordered the AS4 model. Almost immediately the Amerisleep mattress helped my back. Within a week 75% of my back pain went away. In the mornings I can now get out of bed and stand up straight and walk straight. "After much research on which mattress to buy, we landed on Amerisleep AS4. I was having hip and shoulder pain from my old mattress. The first night in the AS4 was a dream! I slept well and did not wake up with any pains. After 30 nights, I discovered that I was more of a combo sleeper than just a side sleeper. I called up customer service and we talked though options. Madeline was very caring and after some discussion, we are going to try the AS3. (My husband is definitely a back sleeper and the AS4 is too soft for that.) We have a split King. I was worried that I might not like the AS3 and want the AS 4 back. Madeline reassured me that if I wanted the AS4 back, that I had a new 100 day trial window with the AS3.
