"Prompt delivery, easy set up. Extremely comfortable! It is firm and supportive with just the right amount of softness. At first I thought it might be too firm, but I adjusted after one night. I do not get too hot with this material, which greatly helps me stay asleep.

I had an off-brand foam mattress before this and liked it pretty well, but I always slept hot, which wakes me up. Also, it began breaking down after a few years and had a really bad dip in the middle. Of course, it did not have a 20 year guarantee like my Amerisleep mattress!

I had my own box spring so I needed to buy boards to make a flat surface for the mattress; this was fine and well but I was misinformed that the required boards would be ~$30 and could be purchased somewhere like Lowe's. This mishap was the only reason I'm not giving the experience 4/5 stars. The boards cost $100 and I had to call four different places, finally landing with a local plywood company that could provide the required boards. The bed was fun to unbox and unwrap - it expands quickly. After the first night on the new mattress my back was a little stiff when I woke up, but since then it's been great.
