"The mattress is absolutely amazing, my very first mattress, which is on the pricey dude but what I believe to be incredibly worth it. I bought the queen sized mattress specified for stomach and back sleepers, and couldn't be happier with the sleep and comfort aspect.
However, I felt that the packaging factors have been very lackadaisical. The box was crumpled, and a little wet and just seemed messy. Overall still worth it"

"We ordered the A4, second softest. It was still hard as a rock. The return process was unusual as I had to arrange donating it....they didn't have pick up service in my area. Kind of a pain along with the paperwork. They take several days to reply to email, not a fast process. But I did get a refund without any fight. "

"We're only a couple weeks in, so still too early to tell the real quality of this mattress but so far it's great! I'm a 200# side sleeper and my wife is a 110# side sleeper. It takes about a minute longer than I'd like for the mattress to "sink in" when we roll over but once we're there this mattress seems really great- the right balance of support with softness. Very minimal chemical smell during airing out. Nice edge support. Almost no motion transfer."

"We bought a somewhat firm mattress but that was far too hard for me and too hard for my husband. I knew it after one afternoon nap on it. They did take the mattress back within about 10 days and send us a softer one about a week later, and ultimately sent us the mattress topper for free after the second mattress was still a bit hard and now, it's a really comfortable set up. It was a little tough to work with customer service - they were very friendly but we were trying to communicate with them through an email chain and as they changed customer service people and there was no continuity in the last conversation or email correspondence we'd had with them. But they tried hard to connect the dots and ultimately, it was a very good experience. "

"I'm not one to send a review. This came though my email to review amerisleep, so I decided too.
I was comparing Amerisleep to Casper and purple. I did my research, looked at the reviews, and even called with questions. At the end of it all I decided to go with Amerisleep AS3. They said for a side sleeper who is use to pillow top beds to get the AS3, so we did. Bed was extremely hard, and uncomfortable. And for one of the first nights my wife and I decided to sleep in our car to get a better night sleep than on that bed. I called and asked for a refund and to return it. They were extremely hospitable and told me to try it for one more week and to walk all over it for a few hours to loosen up the foam. We did. And it did loosen it up slightly. I did more research and found out that they basically through the bed away since they can't use it after it's been slept on. We don't want that to waste a brand new mattress. So it's in our spare bedroom for our guests. We even bought a pillow top foam to put on top if it.
My wife and I are sleeping on an air mattress until we can save up and purschase another bed but it won't be theology Amerisleep"

"This bed is great! Very comfy, very lightweight, no smell at all. The website was a little confusing, but as I knew exactly what I was looking for, I was able to make the purchase relatively easily. Due to unique circumstances, a customer service rep called us to confirm our purchase wasn't fraud. They were very friendly and polite in confirming the details. After that, the mattress arrived fairly quickly (although never quickly enough when you're on an air mattress on a cold floor - with a cat). The bed is really comfortable, and there isn't a lag as you move around either. We have it on a slat bed, and it works perfectly. It seems to breathe well, as neither of us have gotten too hot at night (despite a few 80+ degree nights with broken AC). We really love this bed, and the ordering process was easy! We would definitely purchase again, and recommend to anyone."
