"I was quoted 400. to replace a piece in my ice maker I thought that was high and he said it was because its hard to get things right now BS!! I don't know if they thought because I'm a woman they felt they could take advantage of me but I took the ice maker apart and found what I thought was the problem (not what the guy said by the way), I found this site ordered the part and 2 days later I was back in business :)

"I purchased a condo which hadn't been lived in for quite some time. All the appliances were KitchenAid and purchased in 2007. The built in over blew a fuse when it was put in self-cleaning mode. The dishwasher leaked. The microwave was covered in grease on the inside and the built-in refrigerator did not have a toe plate nor did the through the door ice dispenser dispense ice. Except for the ice dispenser refrigerator door, which appears to be a bigger task than I'm equipped for right now, I have fixed everything with parts from Appliance Parts Pros. We got original parts and most installations were thoroughly explained in the app on replacement procedures. I have saved a lot of money and still have KitchenAid appliances.
