We have a high-end Bosch dishwater that is only 3 years old that stopped cleaning the dishes.

We waited weeks through COVID for an appliance repairman. The first individual was a BS'er of the highest order, charging us $90 bucks to spend 30 minutes telling us how clever he was and then leaving a quote for $500 to supply and install an unnamed part. We waited many more weeks for a second repairman who was very pleasant and helpful and checked that water was pumping but told us he didn't really know what the issue was and charged us $94.

I jumped on the internet and found Appliance Parts Pros, and was able to find the instructions, parts list and technical drawings for my model dishwasher. Using this info I was able to find Appliance Parts videos on YouTube explaining symptoms and a full parts repair process. I was able to diagnose the issue myself as a defective heat pump. I was able to order a genuine Bosch replacement part for $98 which arrived on my doorstep 2 days later. I followed the procedure shown in the video and "Hey Presto, the dishwasher is as good as new!".

Thanks, Appliance Parts for providing fair price parts and great fast service, and all the technical information anyone could need to do this repair themselves provided they have a few basic tools and some basic mechanical skills.
