"I was helped initially by a post by one of the technicians in response to a question similar to mine. That helped me understand what part I needed to fix my dishwasher. Misleading shipping times and return policy

"Update: I got a call from their customer service based on the review here and on other sites. The gentleman who called was polite and offered to refund my shipping cost based on the incorrect estimate on the website. I said it wasn't necessary; he said it was already done. He discussed possible reasons why the shipping estimate could have been incorrect and listened as I explained my experience. He acknowledged that there seems to be an issue, at least for my zip code and said he'd bring it to the attention of the appropriate team. He also expressed concern over the previous apathetic customer service experience and said he'd look into it. After the conversation, I let him know that I'd add a star to my review based on his call. He said that wasn't why he called - he just wanted to understand my experience better. Nice! This update includes the extra star. I let him know that if the website's shipping estimate was fixed, I'd bump up my rating again.

Misleading shipping times and return policy! Their economy shipping estimated 4-5 days for my package to arrive, which was the same as their buy-up option. Since the estimate was the same, I opted for economy. Once the package shipped, the estimate from FedEx was ten business days. When I reached out to customer service, they told me that economy shipping takes 3-7 days. Ok...? So why does your website say something else? "Well sir, that's just an estimate." Yeah, an estimate you know is wrong! Why not fix the website? I would gladly have paid a few extra dollars to get a working appliance a week sooner. I paid 20% more buying from them because of the estimated arrival date. Their cheaper competitor would've actually had it to me sooner.

And their "no questions asked" return policy? Read the fine print. Anything you've removed from their original packaging may be ineligible for a return. Anything you've tried to install may be ineligible for a return. Anything that isn't resalable to another customer may be ineligible for a return. Wait a sec, so if I open your shrink wrap and it's the wrong part, I can't return it? If the part doesn't fit, I can't return it? If it's BROKEN when I get it, I can't return it because you couldn't sell it to someone else? You can find examples of all of these situations.

When the part finally arrived, it had a single layer of 1/4" bubble wrap and about 8" of empty space. My part was banging against the walls like a kid on Mountain Dew in a bouncy house. Two stars because the part worked. Take off one star for misleading shipping and woefully inadequate part protection, another for their deceptive return policy, and one more for apathetic customer service. I'll avoid them like the plague in future.

“I apologize that you didn't have a positive experience with us this time. The shipping date when you purchase is an estimate based on how long it should take to get from our nearest warehouse to your location. If the part turns out to be unavailable from that warehouse and needs to be shipped from somewhere else, or if the courier gets delayed in delivery, we cannot always anticipate that.

As for the return policy, that's not quite accurate. If a part is defective, damaged in transit, or not the part you ordered due to a mispick at the warehouse, we absolutely will replace that part at no cost to the customer. It's covered under our 365 day warranty. However, used parts are no longer considered resalable because we can no longer verify their quality.

Again, I'm sorry for any confusion or inconvenience you experienced during this order. We have refunded your shipping, which I hope can help make up for that, because customer satisfaction is our priority.

Easy to install, arrived on time

"Dishwasher a pain to slide out as new tile floor in front of unit adjustable feet and little clearance even when retracted. Once out, very easy to replace spring cords. Suggest replacing the pair at the same time. Second cord was not broken but getting worn."
