I'm kidding, of course. Two young men delivered my machine precisely when promised on the designated day, unboxed it and removed all of the wrapping. They inspected the item before having me sign for the delivery on an iPhone.

Considering the alternative was buying it at Lowe's, a store that refuses to ban openly-carried firearms, and tote it home myself for more than I spent at Appliance Connection, waiting for the truck shipment was no sacrifice at all.

Further, they wouldn't let me forget about a rebate that comes with the machine. Shorena sent me an email asking for a callback; then, when I spoke to her, she kindly processed the claim herself at her end. At no time in the process did I run into an angry white guy swinging his Glock under my nose. How good is that?!

In the past, I'd have gone to Lowe's, Home Depot or Best Buy for this purchase; none of the three take an interest in public safety, so as we say at the airline, "Buh-Bye."
