"I would give this company 0 stars if possible. I would like to note that the appliances we purchased are great, but that is because Whirlpool makes a great product. However, Appliances Connection does NOT do good business! Keep reading for one wild ride of a transaction.
We purchased a kitchen set from Appliances Connection. We live in a very remote area of Colorado, so the in-home delivery was the selling point for us as we don't have any neighbors or ability to get heavy items inside our house alone. We specifically called to place our order so we could ascertain the delivery was in-home. Don't believe a word they say!
First, the rep who took our order entered the wrong product info and chose a product on back order. Then, they charged us TWICE! Thousands of dollars came out of our account TWICE. How does that happen?! When we called to complain, they seemed to think this sort of accident happens all the time and it isn't a big deal. Good thing we didn’t overdraft. Then, for over three weeks we waited for information on the order until finally my husband got someone on the phone who realized they selected the wrong product. Once corrected, we waited another three weeks. We finally received word the appliances would be delivered in the next few days. Well that didn't happen. Another few days and we get a notification it will be delivered in a couple days. Great. We both take the day off of work to make sure everything is in order for the delivery.
The morning of our delivery we receive a call from the freight carrier. He asks if we have an appliance dolly. Of course we don't own an appliance dolly! He continues to say "well I don't do in home delivery and I don't have a dolly." About thirty minutes after this discussion he pulls into our driveway. One older man, no dolly. My husband even had to help this man get the appliances off his truck because they were too heavy for him!
He then left us to fend for ourselves with a fridge, stove, and microwave sitting on our gravel driveway, unprotected, with no way of getting them up the five steps into our home. I was on the phone with Appliances Connection customer service, who clearly did not care about their lack of service. They also didn't seem to understand that our home is located in a snowy, wet area of the Colorado Rockies and thousands of dollars’ worth of product was sitting outside, unprotected in April. Their excuse was the carrier got changed that morning and they didn't think it would be a big deal to deliver 500+ pounds of appliances to people who don't do professional delivery for a living. They didn’t even bother to notify us of the change in delivery.
My husband and I were able to carry the microwave and the stove inside, but it took us a good two hours and a lot of hard work. Then we were left staring at a 300 pound, 6 foot tall fridge. We tried to move the fridge closer to the stairs, but it was so unstable with just the two of us and our small dolly we were afraid it would fall and crush one of us. So a friend who lives two hours away drove down, we purchased the biggest dolly we could find (no appliance dolly's available within 100 miles of us), and we set to work trying to get this gigantic fridge into the house. It began to snow because we live at 10,000 feet. It fell below freezing. And it got very dark very fast.
After we got the fridge to the top step, we realized the fridge was BOLTED to the pallet. We had to remove the protective wrap to get to the pallet. My husband and his buddy had to tilt the fridge as far back as possible and slide it to the edge of the stairs, all so I could crawl under it to remove the four inch bolts attached to the pallet. I was terrified since the snow made the fridge slick and unsteady in their hands. It took us hours to get this fridge inside our home. Our friend had to stay the night because it turned into a blizzard.
This entire experience was a nightmare. We will never purchase from this company again. To boot, our expensive fridge has a big scratch on it because we are not professional movers and we couldn't leave it outside in the snow. The tiny refund we received does not make up for the money we spent on a dolly, gas, and migraine medication. I have photos and videos of this entire experience that I will share on other platforms. Take your money somewhere else and save yourself the headache!"

I was able to pay for the AC unit (paypal was only option for credit card - not too impressed with that) and the removal of our old one, which is very convenient. What I didn't like was that I couldn't find the smaller unit that I was looking for and I had to check out with PayPal."
