Aquascience recommends checking item when it's delivered. Fedx left on porch without ringing doorbell or disturbing our dog. I was home. Text alerted me of delivery. There was a hole in the box but item appears to be fine."

"I placed two orders with aquascience over a 6day period. The day after I placed the order, I received a call from them confining that my shipping and billing address were different. I confirmed it and was actually impressed that they were so security minded. They advised me the shipment would go out the next day. About 6 days later I placed another order with them and immediately received a shipping confirmation, yet it was billed the very day I spoke to them about the shipping. Realizing that I never received a shipping confirmation on the first order (now a week old) I asked about it. They put me on hold for a long time then said "Oh that order is going out tomorrow". It was obvious that they had forgotten about the first order after confirming the shipping information. It probably sat on someone's desk for a week. The items I needed were to repair our well so it was urgent I receive them quickly. In the end I got everything I ordered and it was correct. MY ADVISE: IF YOU ORDER FROM THEM MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW UP THE NEXT DAY AND REMIND THEM TO SHIP IT, OTHERWISE YOU MIGHT WAIT FOREVER FOR YOUR PURCHASE THAT WILL NEVER SHIP UNTIL YOU BUG THEM."

The price was good, but the valve came with no instructions, so I had to figure out the length of the razor tube, had a supply my own silicone lubricant, and had to figure out how to install the bypass valve all by myself. I’m competent enough, but I can imagine someone not having an easy time of it. “The competition” included manuals and instructions with its control valve. "
