"I ordered a plumbing part through NewEgg's site, it was fulfilled and shipped through a 3rd party, ANTonline.com. The part is plastic, was very poorly packaged and arrived damaged and unusable. Okay, mistakes happen. I contacted NewEgg as they are who I paid, they claimed that since the order was fulfilled by ANTonline I should contact them. I contacted ANTonline, provided my name, address, order number, their invoice number, the fact that it was purchased through the NewEgg site, EVERY bit of information they would need. They refused to acknowledge me as a customer despite having just shipped me an item a couple of days earlier.
Back to NewEgg, I explained that ANTonline had refused to deal with me as a non-customer, they agreed to intercede. A couple of days pass, they contact me, ask for the info that I had already given them twice. Asked how I wanted to proceed, a return or a replacement. I asked for an RMA, it was a plumbing part and I needed it to fix a sink, I could not be without it long enough to get this resolved. So I had to source the part locally when it became clear this was going to take a while. A couple more days pass, they demand photos. I've been shopping online since the mid-90s and have NEVER needed photos to get approval for an RMA. NEVER. I tried to provide photos, my digital camera is on the fritz, notified NewEgg that I couple not provide picttures, but would be happy to return the item to prove it was damaged. No response except for another demand for pictures. Replied again, asked for RMA again since I couldn't take pictures, no response.
Here we are, last day on the timer. I have tried MULTIPLE times with both NewEgg and ANTonline and both refuse to grant a simple RMA. This should have been handled in one email and 20 seconds and yet after all this time TWO different companies continue to stonewall. I have been a NewEgg customer on this particular account since 2002 and a few years before that at a different address. I have NEVER has an issue before this, they're one of the best companies I've ever dealt with. Research has shown that ANTonline has a pretty shaky reputation here and there are plenty of cases of them not standing behind their mistakes and trying to refuse RMAs and returns. Now perhaps this is entirely on them and not on NewEgg, perhaps this is just teething problems of NewEgg learning to work with third party fulfillment of orders, but the fact remains that I paid NewEgg and have been communicating with NewEgg and they have not come through any better than ANTonline has. I've given them both ample, repeated opportunities to solve this with a simple return and they REFUSE. Period. They flat out refuse to provide a RMA for a damaged item.
I've been shopping online since 1995 and this is the very first time I've had to escalate a dispute. Thousands upon thousands of transactions and not once have I need to get my credit card company or PayPal involved.

"The worst experience I ever had, antonline send me a laptop that's not working properly then refused to refund me, after sending the laptop back they send me a laptop with no charger after trying to get someone to assist with my case for months they treated me like I did not pay anything for that laptop, nobody knows what's going on and nobody cares, I have been trying for 3 months to get my charger and nothing. I wasted $530 for nothing cant even use the laptop or charge it. "
"Horrible company to deal with. Bought 2 monitors, they sent me the wrong items and then charged me a restocking fee for their mistake. Sent several e-mails to try and fix, only one was replied too. Attempted to call, all they said was e-mail customer service. Will not be doing business with this company again, and I implore everyone to do the same."
"An order was placed in error with antonline through the new egg marketplace for a BenQ XL2430T Black / Red 24” 1ms (GTG) Widescreen LED Backlight 3D Gaming LCD . I placed the order Saturday afternoon and then decided to cancel it 40 minutes after I placed it. Newegg advised me to contact the seller, ANTOnline, which I immediately did, with my request to cancel the order. I received a reply from the company stating the order had been pulled, packed and dropped in a UPS shipping container and that I would no longer be able to make any changes to the order. I was then informed I could request an rma, but I would lose 15% due to a "restocking fee" for an order that hasn't even shipped out yet. I would not recommend doing busy with ANTOnline. "

"Avoid this outfit. 15% restocking fee on DOA (dead on arrival) units, even if asking for exchange. I understand that it is common industry practice to have a restock fee if someone is asking for a refund, but for an EXCHANGE on a DOA unit is unheard of. So, if you order a $500 notebook from them, it shows up defective and doesn't even turn on, they will exchange it, but only after charging you an additional $75 for the privilege, plus shipping. There are too many good outfits out to have to take risks with this one."

But the company provided the product I needed at a price $20.00 under competitors. And most charge $14.00 or more freight.

Several days later we get an email saying that the drives were a special item and needed longer to process and asked if I wanted to keep the order and wait or cancel it. I told them I was in no hurry and I would wait. Few days later I get an email from Newegg telling me the seller cancelled my order anyway, no notice, no communication, nothing at all. Terrible service based just on this fact alone. Will not be doing business with them anytime in the future, and will warn others of this business. Recommending to Amazon and Newegg not to deal with them either."

"I purchased this for my 13 year old autistic son from Santa. I was sent XBOX ONE version. We have an XBOX 360. I was just asking for a swap--not total refund. I ordered on Nov 28, and 1st attempted to exchange on Dec 26. I got email back w/ extensive return policies--all of which I qualify for--unopened, in original packaging, barcode intact, packing slip. Was refused a return b/c it was 31 days when I finally called the company directly after 4 emails and no reply. The representative refused to give me the name of a supervisor or put me in touch w/ anyone else. I've NEVER EVER heard of a company who Didn't Offer some form of extended holiday returns. Given this is not Amazon's fault as this is the 1st time in over 10 years that I've ever had an issue, but seriously, I reported to AMAZON that they should absolutely NOT DO BUSINESS with this seller.
