"Ordered two Sony home theater amps via Buy.com, but was actually through a Buy.com's Marketplace reseller - ANTOnline.
One of the amps worked just fine, but the other didn't work right out of the box.
I intended on giving these as gifts for Christmas to my parents, so I tested them immediately on receiving them.
SInce the defective one failed, I tried to get an immediate replacement through ANTOnline, so that I would have it on Christmas, they refused to send a replacement. They wanted me to send to Sony and use the warranty. I tried to call as well as emailed to get a RMA but was denied and referred again to the warranty service at Sony.

For a retailer to not take a defective product back for a replacement in this age of internet competition is amazing. There are many other retailers to go to, so I guess ANTOnline didn't want my business. Now I won't be using both ANTOnline and any of Buy.com's Marketplace sellers (for fear of getting screwed again).

Incidentally, I did send to Sony's repair place. After 2 weeks, it was repaired, but now the faceplate has a nice scratch on it. Had to keep that one and buy another for my father to actually have on Christmas day. Thanks for nothing ANTOnine."

"ANTOnline is good at selling their product, but is not good when there is an issue. It is three days after I received the product, the product is brand new/unopened, and ANT Online will not accept a return on the item.

As a consumer, I will not purchase from companies that do not allow returns. I prefer companies that value their customers enough to take care of them when they purchase the incorrect item.

This is the last purchase I will ever make from ANTOnline. I will go back to Newegg.com who never lets me down."
