"The tire technicians do not know anything - they overfilled the tires they put on. I also requested an oil change and they had to call me to ask how much oil to put in my truck - they actually wanted to put 27 quarts of oil in my truck.. REDICULOUS!!.. Then took my truck and wife's car to a different location to get my truck fixed after the mistakes they made and get tires for the wife's car... The tires went flat 2 days after being installed and they broke my wife's hood latch. I will never patronize another Autotire facility in my life and I strongly suggest you don't either"
"Auto Tire does an excellent job and they are always very courteous to me. They know exactly who I am when I walk in the door. I couldn't be happier with them."
"I have been going to Autotire for the last 2 years and I always have a great experience. I always go in without an appointment and they are always able to fit me in. They get my car in and get me out in fast time. Its great to go to a place that doesn't have you there all days and does what they say they will do. I will always be going there to get any services done to my car. "
"Fast service, the staff was somewhat rude though"
"I bought tires for the first time for my car and the salespeople helped me to find the best tire at the best price. They also will match their competitors prices so you can be sure you get the best deal. My only complaint was after they installed the tires, there were minor scratches around all four wheels."
"Always come here due to great location (close to home) and affordable oil changes. Love that coupons are sent to my email. Awesome customer service and love the good fresh cofee while I wait."
"I got a $3.16 Oil Change thanks to Auto Tire's Cardinal Baseball Promotion. I had an oil filter that was stuck thanks to the previous owner. Ricky had that bad boy off in no time! And ... they used Valvoline 10W-30 Oil - the good stuff! They also did a walk around inspection, and since I'm my own shade-tree-mechanic, they told me what I needed to do on my 25-year-old Toyota Truck.
I had a mechanic's rapport with Rick and Ricky immediately upon arriving at their shop. They were honest and friendly, and did not try to sell me anything .... period. The auto/truck industry (so-called) professionals in Columbia, Missouri, could learn how to treat customers and retain them from Rick and Ricky's teamwork, friendliness, and honesty. Nuff Said!"
"Thought I needed to rotate and balance my tires, but manager showed me that I actually needed
an alignment. Now since my car is a BWM he recommended I take it to dealership bc they have the best equiptment to truly fix my alignment. He said they could do it, but it wouldnt be worth it so I would be better off going to dealer for that repair. Didn't just rotate my tires etc and/or try
to upsell me on alignment and just take my money. No charge for the visit. I really appreciate the honesty and will be back shortly to buy the two new tires I need as well."
"I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. The service was quick and professional. The best part was they didn't try to sell me on any unneeded add-ons."
"Mike at the Telegraph location was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. The customer service that he provided was outstanding and I appreciated the detailed explanation that he gave me of the possible issues. This guys knows his stuff and will not lead you astray. Thank you Mike!"
"I had a nail in my tire. It was replaced and ready to go in warp speed timing at a very reasonable price."
"Autotire #931 6796 Highway N. Saint Charles, MO 63304
My vehicle was returned to me with damage (scratches) to the front drivers side bumper after having an oil change at this location. These scratches are very noticeable and I pointed the damage out to the Front Desk manager but he said that the service techs preform a walk around inspection of all vehicles before any service is done. Even though I waited in the "Waiting Room" for my vehicle I was not part of this "walk around inspection" so I don't know if this report was filled out before or after the damage was done to my vehicle.
I contacted the District Corporate Manager of Monroe Muffler, the parent company of AutoTire, and the directed me to their Insurance Company to file a complaint, which I did. Long story short Traveler"s Insurance said that they could not make a determination as to when the damage occurred so they were not going to make any type of compensation to me for the damages that happened in their clients shop. "
"I have been to Auto Tire a few times now and keep going back due to the professionalism, honesty and respect that I receive there. They have always guided me in the right direction, if there were repairs that I couldn't afford, they never pressured me, however, they would give me options. My experience there has always been a positive one. "
"Store #931, Initial customer contact is very friendly with a can do attitude. I was thinking I may have found my new 'go to' auto shop. I had asked them to install 2 front struts, 2 new tires on the front and then perform front-end alignment. They called me and said they could not remove either of the 2 lower strut bolts from the control arms and then proceeded to tell me they would require an additional $1690 to replace my entire lower suspension on each side of my vehicle. I declined the additional work but asked they just install the 2 tires for now and was also advised I would have to pay 1 hours time for the attempt, sounded reasonable. Before picking up my truck I now plan on doing the work myself this weekend and stopped by my local Advanced Auto parts to purchase the required parts, a new lower strut bushing/bolt for each side, $33 each, no where near $1690. I estimate it will take me less than 2hrs each side to cut the bolt off and install the new bushing and strut. Now if they offered to do the actual repair without replacing my entire lower suspension I would of gladly paid for their time ($110/hr) and the $66 for the additional parts. I pick up my truck and remove a front tire to inspect their work and noticed my brand new 1 day old CV axle now has a hole in the boot leaking grease. I then inspected the other side and found everything to be fine with the exception of a severely mutilated lug nut. I also noticed when removing my torsion bar linkage they decided to use some sort of pliers to aid them in removal of the nut instead of 2 wrenches, no functional damage here I guess just shiny scratches. So after I go back to the shop the service manager has agreed to reimburse me if i replace the severely mutilated lug nut, but denies puncturing the rubber boot on my brand new 1day old CV axle. I'm still dealing with denial and runaround to get reimbursed and am told I have to wait another week to talk to the store manager.
I have been rebuilding/repairing vehicles for 30 years. I'm getting older and I'm still looking for a dependable shop to do work for me when I decide I don't want to do the work myself, this is definitely NOT that shop. I would have considered going back to this shop for future repairs if they were able to accept responsibility for the damage they caused and correct it or reimburse me without me having to spend time to get them to do the right thing."
"Walking in as a female it kind of worries me, but they did not push anything on me or pressure me into buying anything. "
