"I phoned AxionTech with some questions. The rep steered me to what I really wanted (1G PC2700 184-pin DDR33 RAM)--the Google results had subbed in 2 512M cards for a 1G card. I looked at four or five sites, and their price (for this particular RAM, at least) was quite a bit cheaper than the competition.
I managed to install it with no problem; it ran fine but CheckIt Diagnostics wouldn't run a memory check on 2G of RAM (obviously, this is not the vendor's fault). I yanked out a card and ran a memory test, then swapped in the other card and ran another memory test. The cards checked out fine and work well.
I took the cheapest shipping option and the RAM was here in 5 days--not too shabby. I'm quite satisfied with the transaction and the product; I'd gladly do business with these guys again."
