"These guys are the scum of the earth..they prey on the unwary and uninformed. Classic Bait switch tactics. They must think everyone with a CC is a sucker ready to be fleeced. Customer service monkees cant even speak english and are completely unintelligable. Maybe a scam to get CC numbers? Watch your statements closely after giving it to these guys."
"I order a Duron 1.6ghz at $36 about $12 dollars cheaper than anything else on pricewatch. Thwy asked for feedback before order is shipped or even proccessed. I waited three days and after getting an emal which showed a fedex shipping number. clicked on link and showed a error. Contacted them by their online chat service. they stated that they order was cancelled because they had tried to contact to verify the order. I have never heard of this before on order online. I check my callerID and email account. no contact attempts. but the next day I did receive an e-mail say my order was cancelled because of 1) I cancelled the order (which i didn't) 2)they tried to cantact me because of an issue with the order (which they didn't even attempt.) This is a sham company, any positive feed back you read is probable place by them. Don't buy or even go to there web site a total sham."
"Great price on DVD ROM thanks"
"Very good site, easy to locate items. also very easy to place order. Excellant..."
"the order was delivered on time however the fan on the heatsink was physically broken and the hard drive was defective. they offer no returns on fans whatsoever or physically damaged items reguardless of situation. also, they requirea 15% restocking fee and shipping charges on returns for the defective drive. i contacted western digital and exchanged the drive with them painlessly i might add. however, i am stuck with a broken fan. not good"
"Best prices I have seen on processors. Need to make checkout easier and faster.
cANCELED MY ORDER.
ACTUALLY FOUND A BETTER DEAL ELSEWHERE.
THEIR ORDERING SYSTEM IS MUCH BETTER."
"I ordered a stick of pc2100 ram from BZBOYZ. A couple days later, someone called asking for my mb model and chipset, which I provided. They also indicated that they could upgrade the ram to 6 layer pcb for another $14. I finally relented and said ok. A day or so after that, they called again and said I needed low density ram for my board and that would cost extra. At this point, I asked politely that the order be cancelled. He would not cancel it! Again, I relented and said ok, just ship it. The ram arrived and lo and behold, it would not work in my mb. I requested an rma refund, as I did not want to take a second chance. The person stated I would have to pay a restocking fee and that they would not refund the 6 layer pcb ram upgrade. Rather than continue, I said ok, credit my card account. The disgusting thing about this transaction, in addition to having to pay a restocking fee, FOR THEIR MISTAKE, they would not refund any portion of the pcb upgrade. This is the sorriest vendor I have ever dealt with; I am 59 years old, so I have dealt with many. Yes, I was stupid for not persisting in having the original order cancelled. Yes, I was stupid for not referring to reseller ratings prior to ordering from these crooks. I would never order ANYTHING again from BZBOYZ, I don't care if they are giving it away. BEWARE when dealing with this company!"
"I ordered an OEM motherboard and CPU combo for a great price. I was asked to contact them and when I did the rep claimed that the OEM motherboards were out of stock and I could upgrade to a retail board. The rep was obviously reading from a prepared script. The upgraded price wasn't terrible but was slightly more than I could get elsewhere. I also didn't want to support bait and switch tactics so I cancelled my order, which they did without objection."
"Bait and Switch! Said the MB/CPU I ordered was OEM and was out of stock. Forced me to pay $19.95 extra to get the so called retail box. They advertized the low price at www.pricewatch.com but use Bait and Switch tactics. These guys are crooks. Read the customer feebacks at www.pricewatch.com."
"They will not process your order without first calling you and trying to upsell everything. Then they may cancel your order for no reason (happened to me on two orders) Then they are very slow in shipping, and then to top it off the shipper they use DHL airborn lost my package in transit and delayed the order another 4 days."
"Bait and Switch (They Tried.)
Then Canceled my order claiming they couldn't contact me..
Lies! I have Cell phone and Home Phone, both have Caller ID and I check my Email Daily...
Lies Lies Lies..
I can't seriously believe there is ANYONE who has had a Positive Order from these guys!"
"I placed an order for an Athlon processor. After a few days they kept claiming that they were trying to contact me, but nobody every left a voice message or anything of the sort. Than I got an email saying my order was canceled.
From reading some of the other posts here I'm glad I never tried to call them back."
"I ordered an oem version of a DVD drive on a Tuesday. The following day I had a message on my phone asking me to call regarding my order. When I called (long distance) I was placed on hold for several minutes. Finally, someone came on the line and tried to "upsell" me -- "for $7 more we can give you a longer warranty" and so forth. There was no problem with my order, they just wanted to get me to pay more it seems. Anyway, I declined the upgrade, and figured the order would move forward after that. It did not. After some more days of waiting, I received an email message today, 6 days after the initial order, saying that my order had been cancelled. It read as follows:
>Your Order #xxxxxx has been cancelled.
>
>Any order can only be cancelled for one of two >reasons:
>
>1. You contacted us and cancelled the order
>2. We saw that there was a problem with the >order and were not able to get
>in touch with you, and thus we had to cancel >your order after trying to
>contact you multiple times with no response.
The first reason is wrong, as I did not cancel the order myself. The second reason is wrong, as they sent no emails and left no phone messages during the days I was waiting.
After I got the email notice that the order was cancelled, I promptly wrote a feedback message on pricewatch.com with negative feedback. I got another phonecall from bzboyz.com later that evening. The woman calling said something like "we have come to know that you were dissatisfied with your shopping experience" and asked me why. So I told her the story, and she told me to reorder, and also said to send a message stating her name and my previous order number so that the order goes better.
Of course I will not reorder. This company really screws with you. Having me call at *my* expense to "upsell"? Delaying my order for several days for apparently no good reason? Then they cancel, perhaps because they actually won't sell at the price they advertise. This is a true scam company. I order things online regularly, and this is the worst experience I have had to date.

"I ordered a shiny new Athlon XP 3200+ as they had the best price on pricewatch and I have ordered from them before and not had a problem. Low and behold a few hours after placing the order I have a message on my voicemail asking me to contact them to discuss my order. I phoned (my expense Long Distance) and was passed on to a indian guy with a accent so strong I could hardly understand him.
From what I could gather my Athlon Xp was out of stock but he could take one out of a motherboard combo as a favor to me and would only charge me $19 extra and up my warranty to two years. I accepted the offer on the phone (I really want this processor) and a few hours later I got a invoice in my email. So $19 poorer I waited a day or so and the item shipped, I paid for FEDEX 2 day shipping purposly because I know this is always reliable. Guess what? they shipped it Airborne Express and it took 7 days to arrive.
The processor was fine once it arrived (thank god) but I have lost all faith in the company and wont be ordering from them again. The main thing that bothered me is I dont want to be called at home, they are a internet company they should communicate using email, at least I would understand what they are saying in a text message.
The guy also told me that the Athlon XP 3200+ I had ordered was a old model with less L2 cache than the new one's that had just come onto the market, after a little investigation I found that AMD had only ever made one version of the Athlon XP 3200 with 512 l2 cache so what they were telling me was complete bull.
On a funny note if you look on the about page of this company there slogan is "SIMPLE GOALS FOR SIMPLE PEOPLE" I sure feel like a simple person after ordering from them :)"
"* Update: 12/8/08
Following the previous review I left for BzBoyz, the company owner contacted me both my phone and e-mail.
In brief, the original problem was that they had overcharged me $30 for a customer service "upgrade" which I had not selected and then sent me a used and damaged CPU (the ceramic was chipped), which was described on their website as being new.
Sam (the owner) apologized profusely and gave me a coupon code so that I may purchase any number of items in a single order "at their cost" - meaning, I would only pay what they paid, without any markup.
He said it didn't matter when I used it, 6 months, a year, or whenever.
It has been a long while, but needing to upgrade my computer I decided to cash in this coupon. I made a list of items with their stock numbers and contacted their customer service via e-mail to see how much it would cost me (on 12/2/2008).
I received a response saying that "a ticket" had been opened, the information was being passed on and someone would get back to me.
...Well, that was 6 days ago and I haven't heard back from them. It appears that they have decided not to honor the offer they made after all!
