"Add me to the list of dissatisified customers. The guy on the phone speaks poor english. They process orders very slow. After a week goes by they tell me that my Visa card wasn't valid (funny, because I haven't had a problem with it before or since). So I went to with another business, after reading all these other reviews I am glad the order was cancelled, unfortunatly now I have to wait extra time to get my gaming box back up and running."

"This was one of those companies I ALMOST wrote a good review about - they were my only source of components for three months straight. Every order prior to this was perfect, no DOA, no wrong part, and fast service. One bad experience wouldn't normally make me change my on-line supplier, but they are not a source any longer!
I ordered several things on my latest order (13 Oct 04) one of which was an ASUS P5AD2 Premium motherboard - the subject of this post.
As usual, 25% of my order price is Platinum and Rush Service to preclude any problems (full RMA pre-paid, no quibble, etcetera).
However after a week, they emailed me to let me know there would be an additional $11 charge to an APO address over and above the "USPS APO Shipping Option" in their dropdowns. I replied informing them that "after the fact" was too late to tell me and if they wanted to charge more then it should be up front on the order page. Another week went by and they "agreed" to go ahead and ship the order since I was a good customer at the original invoice total. It took two more weeks to get the order (normally arrives from them in 5-7 business days).
After opening the box, I noticed the invoice said ASUS P5AD2 Deluxe and not Premium which also matched what they had sent but the price I was charged and my original order was for the Premium board.
Customer support was no help - told me to contact RMA. Sales was no help - told me to contact RMA. After three unsuccessfull phone calls and two emails, I decided just to use the RMA process. Careful folks, they treat everything as if it is YOUR fault whether they shipped the wrong part or it is DOA or you just don't want it. Their is no "return" if the problem was their fault. Okay, there is except you can opt to ship it back (at your expense) and they will gladly credit you with the current price of your item as opposed to what you paid for it maybe only a few days previously and then since it is a credit you must use it on their site to purchase something else - no money back. Or the second option is to send it back (at your expense) and they will gladly refund your money minus the same adjusted price as in the first procedure plus subtract an additional 15% restocking fee.
In this particular case of the $274 motherboard, if I would have selected one of the two RMA options, the item was "worth" $69 less than I paid (though their selling price is still the same as it was when I ordered it almost a month ago), minus I'd be out ~15$ to ship it back insured and traceable minus ~$40 for a restocking fee. Drum roll please . . . $150 would be what I'd get back either as a refund or a credit towards another purchase.
I am waiting for my credit card statement to cycle so I can dispute the charge.

"I am a custom PC builder and I ordered a motherboard/processor combo from BZBoyz on Oct. 18, 2004. After paying extra for expedited shipping, I received the order more than a week later. The combo was not pre-assembled as is always the case with other merchants I've dealt with. However, the real problem was found after I assembled and booted the system. I discovered that BZBoyz had actually sent me the wrong processor. I purchased the AthlonXP 2600 but received the AthlonXP 2000 model instead, which is a much lesser processor. I have contacted BZBoyz twice concerning this problem via email, but they will not reply. Also, I cannot find a phone number anywhere on their site.

The worst part is that, because BZBoyz would not respond to my complaints, I had to purchase the correct processor from another merchant in order to deliver the PC to my customer ontime.

I am ashamed that I used this merchant. I am usually more careful regarding who I deal with, but I will never use BZBoys again! I hope that resellerratings.com has some influence because otherwise I fear that BZBoyz may not make this right. All I expect is for them to take back the incorrect processor and issue me a refund for it's value, all at their expense. This should be done without me having to return to entire combo...which wasn't assembled anyway.

If you value your hard earned dollars and good customer support, please don't EVER deal with BZBoyz; you will be severely disappointed.

"The initial shipment was relatively timely. I bought a combination processor/motherboard. Motherboard is wrong version, incompatible with the processor. One week to convince BZBoyz to approve an RMA. Their RMA terms threaten to levy fees if they can find any way to blame the customer. Return is by UPS ground. It took a week to get there per UPS. They waited another week to say they received it. 10 days now since they admit receipt and no action. 36 days since the original and I have nothing. On telephone call they accuse me of incompetence!"

"I purchased a Gigabyte/AMD64 combo. I got a call the following day telling me (in very broken English) that the version of the mobo I purchased was OEM and only carries a 15 day warranty. I asked if I could upgrade the warranty (like I paid for in the orginal purchase) and he said no but I could purchase the "retail" version of the motherboard for $47.00. I told him I was fine with the OEM version and his story changed to "we don't carry the OEM version anymore." He also said he talked to his manager and he could only cut me the retail for $20 and that was final. I told him I was only authorized to use the exact money that I bought the mobo/cpu from him so cancel the order. Out of "kindness" he said he'd give it to me for the same price. It all sounded fishy so that's when I came here and read all of these scathing reviews. I quickly called back and cancelled my order (before they could charge the card). I'm still going to keep an eye on the statement cuz this is all very sketchy."

"Just like other buyers from BZBOYZ.COM, (Make a very long post shorter becuse we can all read long bitching posts...and if I post a 6 page post it will take more time out of my life and they win even more. (This is the short story!!)

#1 Order MB (PC CHIPS) & CPU P4 3.0 Ghz Combo $222.88 (w/platinum Plan, no cost refund etc.)

#2 They called me two days later to "Upgrade to retail box and $18.00 more" $19.22

#3 Tracked order, got poorly packed items under "Drop Ship" meathod by DHL on time, so far so good right???..... wrong!

#4 Installed MB and CPU, (I have built many systems, so don't go there!) MB was dead!

#5 Installed MB & CPU in another working computer, same thing, dead.

#6 Requested RMA, and had to check web site for status, status was...I have to pay even though I had the w/platinum Plan!

#7 No one speaks English very well, so when I called to ask about why I did not get RMA paid shipping documents, they first told me to call back in 1 hour, and then when I called they said they were not sure, "Please check web site, OK, you check web site?"

#8 I called my credit card company and they were very helpful and credited my account and said they would put a fraud and consumer alert on them. I even told them about this site and they said they would check it out, and thanked me for telling them about the site :-)

#9 I sent a letter to BZBOYZ with the normal you guys suck bla bla bla, and last line was... I am not sending back the items unless you send me paid for shipping documents to send it back.

"It was very hard to talk to the CSR's, very few spoke any english at all, and 2 different times they were chomping food in my ear. I had trouble explaining to them my problems (the board did not work, no thermal paste) - but the language barrier kept them from understanding. I am not sure if the call center is in the US, I think it may be in India - every rep I got was Indian and did not understand me at all. They hassled me about sending the board back, so I threw it away (my lesson I guess - $24 down the drain). I would never recommend this company to anyone - I would pay more for a product any day of the week if I knew the customer service was good."

"Ordered over a week ago, two MB's/CPU's. Four days after order, company tried to contact me for advertising sales pitch. I informed them that I'm not interested and to simply send the product. Product still hasn't shipped. Several weak excuses were given as to why product hasn't shipped, such as, they were waiting for accounting OK( On my credit card? Give me a break!). A reasonable explaination would have been better. I cancelled the order immediately. I DO NOT do business with compqanies who fail to promptly ship my order. One week is more than sufficient! Customer service Rep. was very difficult to understand. This company is on my "do not order from list" because of VERY POOR and unreliable service! "

"Ordered motherboard, didn't have it in stock although it was listed as "in stock" on pricewatch. Was ordered 2-day Fedex, was sent DHL and took 10 days to get.

They did not call me to tell me it was out of stock until after three days (not over a weekend either). I asked for the priority shipping fee to be removed and they wouldn't do that. They also hung up on me more than ten times in less than an hour and were very rude on the telephone.

They did not speak english very well (I spoke to two different people) and were hard to communicate with (when they were actually on the phone).

"I guess I am one of the lucky few. Although they did call me and say that the CPU that I ordered as part of the MB-CPU-RAM-COMBO was out of stock (bait and switch). They said that I could upgrade it to the next size for $18. It seemed like a reasonable situation at the time...which is a little different from the reality that they do this to EVERYONE. Different excuss...same scam. I had an overall good experience with them.

My order was placed on Fri. and I recieved it on Wed. via Airbourne express. Not USPS as most of you stated. My tracking info said delivery date was Thur. so I got it a day earlier than expected. My system started up and worked great from the start. I got an AMD XP 2200 (1.9ghz) for an extra $18 rather than the AMD XP2000 (1.67ghz) I ordered so I still got what I paid for (or upgraded to I should say).

BUT...i am leary about placing a 2nd order with them due to the fact that not every part you order will work. I may never get a problem resolved with them if one does accure.

My advice...order from BZBoys with caution and understanding that you may (will) be next.

P.S. notice how all there reps. speak very little English but the guys on there web site are all American's....hmmmm. Maybe someone should start a class action case on them. They are telling lies to get you to spend more.

"took about a week to get the package, although newegg and other stores that used ground got it here within 2-3 days. i was called a few days after ordering it asking if i wanted to buy a warranty, one year for ten bucks, i said yes although i had to ask the caller several times to repeat hisself because it literally sounded like a different language=/ well i got the package, a heatsink/fan was suppost to be included but it wasnt and it shows that it was included on the invoice. also they did not include a bracket which unless i missed where they say they dont? haven't test it yet because the lack of a HS/F and the buyers i am building this for need it ASAP, guess i am going to tell them to wait and hope they dont get to upset. the motherboard,cpu,ram came in packaged well but like i said, without a HS/F i cant even test it=/

7.0/10 wanted to say 6.5 but oh well. took them a while to process the order as well.

"They called shortly after I ordered trying to get me to upgrade to the "Retail Box" version of the processor I ordered. I could barely understand the rep because of the accent and poor telephone quality. I was charged for "Pre-testing" when everything was drop shipped from the manufacturer. I emailed them back stating that the "Pre-testing" should be credited back to me. They refused to see why they should credit me back for a service they DID NOT perform.

Also, after looking at the feedback on the different sites about BzBoyz, most of the positive feedback appears to all be "good site" and "site looks good". I would suspect the average shopper would not leave those types of canned remarks, and that BzBoyz is padding their positive remarks to make up for the overwhelming amount of negative feedback.

Bottom line is BUY FROM SOMEBODY ELSE!!!

"Scam. I should have read these ratings first although pricewatch ratings were kind of iffy. I have received emails like theirs before from unscrupulous resellers doing the bait and switch scam. Theirs states:

"We have tried contacting you, but have not been able to do so. We need a
few minutes of your time to go over your order and need to speak to you.

We contact customers to verify the account information and give
information about products purchased and associated warranties etc etc. We
do this to give complete information about the products purchased and it
gives us opportunity to build stronger relationship with the customer.

In case you can not contact us, we will try to contact you again. In case
you get this email after I have already spoken with you, please disregard
it."

Yeah, right! Pass on this con job.

"I ordered a MB+Processor+Fan+Memory combo. As with several other reviews I have read, I got the call telling me I could upgrade to a Retail Box for $15.00. I got the hardware and could not get the MB to even power up. I contacted tech support and performed their list of recommended checks. I even swapped out the MB to a working computer & it still would not power up. So I shipped it back paying the freight. And behold... it works for them. Therefore I will have to: Option 1: Pay $25 service fee for there troubleshooting efforts + shipping back to me or Option 2: Pay 20% restocking fees to have them keep them. I ended up in a yelling match with the non-english speaking moron in their "customer service department" (oxymoron), but my only recoarse is to call my credit card company and put the purchase in dispute. Because it's a fairly small amount, the credit card company will just credit my account and will not pursue legal action. Therefore BZBOYZ gets their money + the hardware back so they can resell it to the next smuck that believes in free enterprise and integrity!

Don't buy from these frauds!!
