"Horrible customer service. I ordered a nook book and after they took my payment, it didn't work and I was not able to access it. So I asked for help on the Nook chat, and instead of trying his best to help me access it, he simply says that since I am not able to access it, they will issue a refund. So having been a long-time customer of Barnes and Noble, I trust that they will keep the promise and I searched elsewhere and spent my money again to buy the same fricken book on Amazon. I wait and wait for a whole week for the promised refund, but it never comes. So i sent their customer service center email, gave them a call but all to no avail. The reply to my email was "please call us, as it we will be better able to serve you that way." I call them, and they make me hold for more than an hour and Noone comes to help me. The "expected hold time" was 10 minutes.! I sent them another complaint email, and they IGNORE me. What a HORRIBLE customer service and a RIP OFF!! I am VERY disappointed in Barnes and Noble's customer service and their business ethics! I will NEVER EVER buy ANYTHING from them EVER AGAIN, and I recommend all to think twice before shopping online at Barnesandnoble.com for their nookbook, because you never know if its not going to work and you will be ripped off!"

"I have always been satisfied with the books I buy from B&N. The only problem I have encountered is that they sometimes use the credit card instead of the gift cards, and I always put a limit on the credit card I use, so when it is reached I still have money on the gift cards, but the credit card declines the purchase. That is frustrating, but still, it keeps me from spending too much on books, so I have no problem with that."
