Unit arrived as advertised in good shape and worked just fine (so I did not have to deal with customer service). Recommended, will not hesitate to order from them again, good work.
Update: power adapter nearly caught on fire in my daughter's apartment weeks after purchase. She lives out of state and so she threw the part away after it cooled outside overnight. Too late to have them replace it, so I inquired how to buy another (we threw it away). Sparing you all of the details: I'm out an external HD because the supply is unique for that external case, I'm out an extra $15 because after horrible customer service (or extreme lack thereof) because I ordered what I thought was the replacement. Further emails have gone unnoticed and unanswered. Phone calls led to call this other number (I won't transfer you), oh that other number should really be able to help you, call that number back. Emails (if answered, 33% chance they will be) seem to be canned: call the tech guy (who told me to call customer service, story above). Then they have the nerve to ask for feedback and if unhappy let us know. Two weeks later here I am complaining about no response again and am fed up with zero customer service or support after you buy the product. So I'm changing my rating, who cares if they are easy to order from, appear to talk the talk and deliver the goods with no customer service to speak of. I can't continue to say I'd recommend them now because we all know things happen and support can't be taken so lightly with so many places to choose from."
